The sight of members of the American military, disarmed and under Iranian control, is of enormous propaganda value in Iranâs ongoing war against the United States. To its allies in the Middle East, the photo demonstrates Iranâs strength â how many jihadist countries have had this many American servicemembers under their power? â and it demonstrates American weakness.

Why do they say there is an “ongoing war?”
Listen.. I trained with marines.. I know a few, like everyone else does. I think they acted that way and apologized because the Iranians threatened the female with them. What in the world was she doing on a boat like that near Iranian waters? I don’t know any marines would would stand by and let women be brutalized.. Same for children.
I am ex army and this will be swept under the rug as a gender experiment fail. To my shame, the army punished soldiers for defending chained and raped boys in the weekly beachi bazi rapings... Weekly.
They’ve been at war with us since November 1979... mostly by proxy.
When my brother was in SERE school they tried to ‘break’ him by smacking around a female but it didn’t work, which got him a very dirty and surprised look from her. He did squeal when they waterboarded him, though. He said he sold out the family including the dogs and cats.;-)
You made good points for sure. I’m wondering a couple of things though; if one of the boats lost engine power, why didn’t the other boat take it in tow? By one taking the other in tow both would have had the ability to maintain steerage and stay out of Iranian waters. Ok, so it wasn’t engine failure on one of the boats. Let’s say it was navigation system failure on the lead boat? Same logic; why didn’t the other boat take the lead and thereby enabling both to stay clear of Iranian waters? And, if the problem was navigational and not engine, why didn’t these boats simply out-run the Iranian boats and get the heck out of dodge? Presumably, the boats are capable of 45 knots, about 50mph. I seriously doubt the Iranians had anything that fast. And, lastly, why didn’t the officer in command ask for help regardless of the problem? There are US Navy and other Allied assets in the area who could have come to their aide very quickly. Frankly, the whole incident doesn’t make much sense. Hope the real story is revealed soon.
It sounds as our boats were **supposed** to be captured by the Enemy.
I think it was planned, staged to show us that the Iranians want to be friends and that this deal they made with satan is good yet they can use this as propaganda depicting a weak America and they are winning the war
Frankly, the whole incident doesnât make much sense. Hope the real story is revealed soon.
Agreed. It almost seems like this was some sort of setup job. One has to wonder what for. To make the Iranians look magnanimous? To make John Kerry look good? It’s all just too odd.
I thought all ten were sailors ?
Yeah, propaganda.
Could their GPS have been over ridden by a different signal?
Geeezzzeee, we have a Cuban invasion here in the Florida Keys and it's no accident.
