There was no need for Cruz to disrespect the casualties from the 9/11 attacks. Teddy would probably feel differently if it happened in Toronto.

In evoking 9/11 images, Trump tried and — given a lot of posts on this site — succeeded in conflating two different types of values:
1) Brave, heroic, self-sacrificing first-responders running into burning buildings. Those are the values Trump was talking about.
2) That same brave, heroic, self-sacrificing first-responder voting to send Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer to the Senate. Those are the values Cruz was talking about.

If it weren’t for NYC voters, Cuomo would not be governor, because upstate NY voted for conservative Republican Astorino.
Thanks to Cuomo, we have same-sex “marriage.”
