Behold "The Freedom Girls" performing at a Trump rally in Florida yesterday morning.
It's very reminiscent of another one you may recall from 2009. We on the right used as an example of how Obama had, for many, transcended merely being a political figure and had become a hero of mythological proportions to his worshippers.
I'm sure many of his sycophants will pretend there is a difference between a worshipful, outrageous, child-sung battle hymn at a rally for that person and thus officially sanctioned by the subject of the song vs a worshipful, outrageous, child-sung musical history at a tax-payer funded school by a teacher who has no official association with the subject of the song.
And you'd be right!
Trump's is much worse. He pushed those kids on stage essentially endorsing their God-like message about him, whereas at least Obama could claim he had no knowledge of the song.
This is getting way past embarrassing.

What’s redstate? Sounds like commie douchebags?
"Our military has to be strengthened.
Our vets have to be taken care of.
We have to end Obamacare, and we have to make our country great again,
and I will do that."Donald Trump
hacks in the back for the establishment.
I watched that rally. Those girls performed before Trump ever got there. Nobody but those lovely and patriotic people in Pensacola PUSHED those kids onto that stage.
This is disgusting and is nothing like what those schools were doing with Obama.
You should be ashamed!
If Kim Jong Il can have schoolgirls singing songs of adoration, The Donald has to have them too. Because, you know, you’ve got to give that Kim a lot of credit...
I agree...to say something like that is just what I would expect out of obuma’s mouth or Hillary’s mouth...at least now we know who’s voting for who now...
The whole premise of this Redstate gasbag is wrong. Some people never ever know when to cut out the crap.
While I despise idolatry, comparing this with Obama drones is not on the same level, one espoused the man, this one espouses freedom.....so surprised you would not realize that.
Bless your little heart.

It is embarrassing that people don’t understand the short attention span (measured in seconds) and soundbite mentality of the typical “independent” voter in today’s America. Remember that “independents” are people so stupid that they haven’t chosen a side in a very polarized political climate. You need to attract them with loud noises and bright lights and then you hammer them with some short and easy to remember phrases.
I watched that rally. Those were just 3 little girls probably tickled pink to be there and have an audience like that.
The pettiness and jealously of Cruz supporters is sickening.
My 2 grandfathers...
one had Donald in his names, the other had John...
MMM MMM MMM
:)
Wait, do you think that the Trump campaign doesn't control every second of his rallies? That they are only in control once Trump steps onto the stage?
Ha!
Red State is an embarrassment, egg on the face of the right. The kids were cute, snappy and 99% of the song was about America. Its nice to see kids being patriotic, the single Trump mention I saw reminded me of the little league games where the uniforms were donated by “blank” who got a shout out. The Obama children’s songs were vapid dirges to our dear leader who would part the seas, sung by kids that looked like they needed rescue and lots of fresh air away from helicopter Moms.
Only a clueless blank who was looking for mud to throw could confuse the two..Oh wait both had kids...both sung..both had a tie in to a candidate...So they must be the same.
This is really stupid. All anyone has to do to realize how stupid it is look at what Trump did prior to becoming a politician and what Obama did prior to becoming a politician.
End of story.
It’s also a brilliant example of the stupidity that results from using the logical fallacy of too few alternatives.
No, the person who set that up was Scarborough’s brother who lives there.
Does it matter? Those kids were just doing a patriotic routine because it is a military town, ya petty little skankworm.
Stupidity isn’t capable of shame.
I prefer the Goldman Sachs Quartet and their Cruz Rulez song.
