I didn’t see anything off with Cruz’s comments about New York either. He could have pointed out he was talking about the CITY, and not the conservative upstaters. But I think most conservative viewers will realize he was talking about the media and political hub that is NYC.
Or perhaps I’ve become immune to such things having lived so long in Massachusetts. When I hear comments like Cruz made about this state, I don’t take it personally.

What people seem to be missing, is that Cruz is a “conservative”. So he speaks in Conservative terms, from a conservative perspective.
So all these people taking what he is saying and twisting it, are not seeing it via the conservative perspective, and therefore, are not getting it. IMO
