That's because NY is full of NE liberals. Abortion on demand, control freaks, high taxes. Trump fits right in. Another Obama EO freak.

“I swear they are keeping Kasich in for entertainment purposes, only”

I said the same thing a couple of weeks ago: entertainment value and the resultant ratings increase. Why else would they keep an inconsequential semi-sane dude on the stage?

Yep, Rubio was playing jai alai on Cruz’s forehead. Hitting him with all those issues at once. LOL.

This clip will turn up in a Rubio ad. Count of it.

I know for a fact, this debate didn’t change my mind about who I’m voting for. I’m not sure the debate really changes anything, for anyone, actually. I think people like who they like, and no matter what, will continue supporting who they like.

Since I’m conservative, I’m voting for the most conservative guy there...*Ted Cruz*.

So, was Tribe wrong when he said this? "Professor Laurence Tribe, a brilliant man who has over the years taught many of our country's finest lawyers, judges and politicians, admits that Cruz was very smart and that he got an A in his class."

I'd weight that against the rest of the available evidence.

I remember many conservatives who would have thrown Cruz to the curb just because he studied law at Harvard.

So did Clarence Thomas, and he manages to get it right.

No. Cruz has never even suggested he’d consider a VAT.

“Most western companies build plants in China to circumvent that tariff”

The large ones like Boeing put plants there because China insists on it or they threaten not to buy from them.

Okay, that is a dumb post. Cruz has actually done things in the senate.

Trump has done things in finance but nothing in government.

Unless you count donating to the Clintons.

It was probably Trump’s worst performance so far. It was amateur hour, except for a couple of questions.

You may or may not be right.

We are the only people who care about NBC and a few other hard constitutionalists. The funny thing is that people get impressions of people and will not really remember much of the substance. Trump was unrehearsed but authentic, Ted came off as....an attorney.

People hate attorneys.

Cruz is not for a VAT, that was a complete lie by Rubio, and he repeated it twice, Cruz is for a flat 16% business tax and a flat 10% personal tax.

But don’t you think people know that?

As a business leader, Trump is the best. He is right up there with Ford, Carnagie, and Sloan. Sometimes I wish he would cut the trash talk and explain how he solves problems: Hire great people, give them a task and let them go. No excuses, exceptional performance is simply expected. And give them the tools to do it. They will win every time.

A truly great leader/executive/CEO is not down in the weeds with things like policy statements. They are the big picture guys.

I think if Trump showed just a little of that part of his personality he could win in all 50 states. Even 57 states.

Tariffs raise prices to the American consumer, just like Rubio said. How does raising costs to the American consumer help the American economy?

I'm shocked that Brett Baier comes right out of the chute praising Trump.

Right, and he's an honest broker.
