So they were shouting “We Want Bread! We Want Bread!”
Like in the old Roman days. Just promise them Free Bread.
And gladitor games. And slums to live in.
Because this is NOT a “college debate” !
Kasich now just touted a “liberal democrat” he worked with to make people feel fuzzy warm about something.
I’m done with reach-across-the-aisle wimps.
I think they were chanting “We want Rand”
HOLY. CRAP.:

NEW YORK TIMES reporters revolting on Twitter. Apparently they received marching orders pre-debate:
Attack Trump.

Misunderstood job description. Was hired to bring own voice to NYT, instead forced to focus on Trump tonight

First debate hasnââ¬â¢t even started yet and I have already been instructed on narrative by NYT
@GinniaNYT ÷ 27m27 minutes ago
I can write my column tonight with my arms folded. Itââ¬â¢s already been dictated: Attack Trump
@JameStewartNYT ÷ 2h2 hours ago
Shameful memo received by all staff covering tonightââ¬â¢s #Debate. Bullseye on frontrunner! #GOP

If Ted Cruz was thinking about what is good for the country and not for himself, he would endorse Trunp.
Policemen want to get home at night?
Black Wives matter?
A one way tariff is bad for America at large.
These one way trade deals are siphoning American jobs and companies away, and it’s not as slow a flow as one might imagine.
Yes, the effect is that Chinese goods would cost more, and ultimately therefore sales would decrease on many products, resulting in lower income for China. That is in fact the known effect of tariffs.
However, DJT categorically stating... deal fairly, or we answer tariff for tariff... is a bargaining position. You, and apparently many others, believe it could become reality ... that’s the point. The preference is to renegotiate deals, get the balance in order, and avoid the tariff altogether.
Conversely, no one believed Obama’s red line in the Syrian sand. They called his bluff. He folded. In fact he ran away.
You negotiate from a position of strength, and part of that strength is your counterparts’ belief in your willingness to put on the gloves if it comes to a fight.
Idiot - is there anyone left who doesn't know that a politician creates a task force as a smoke-screen - he wants to say he is doing something when he doesn't want to do a thing.
And, speaking of Arab royalty, the children of King Hussein and Queen Noor, an American could hold office...
I honestly don’t see the problem...
After all, we have a Kenyan King presently...think Madison would like him?
Would that explain the sweating, too, LOL?
I think Cruz really did badly on that tonight.
I’m taking away two things on this issue. Please correct me if I’m wrong, because I can’t recall precisely what he said, but basically-
The chances of the SCOTUS doing anything are zero. That is an opinion, that opinion admits that chances of action EXIST, and thta he is basically saying in my supporting him, I am basically playing reverse lotto with my candidate, but don’t worry, it’s a sure thing.
And secondly, I recall him saying to Trump something along the lines of well if they do anything and you are my VP, then you get to have the job.
Did he actually say that? Or did I hear that wrong, because if he said that, I cannot flippin’ believe it!
Wouldn't that then give an incentive to manufacture said item here in the US? US made and offered to the US consumer at a price lower than Chinese good with the tariff? I would like the jobs here instead of a plant in China.
Trumps loves this country. Our fathers died to defend this country and we need respect for our country again. We do not need someone who is going to spit on what our father did for us.
We want rand.
We want what?
I will be glad when the mailman’s son drops out.
He is creepy.
Yes. Rand, that was it!
You could do worse than Christie as attorney gen.
