I'd recommend Ted Cruz. Trump's doing very well, but he's a New Yorker steeped in 60's liberalism, and it shows. It's not all bad -- he's still an American, which the Progs in the 'Rat party ceased to be 40 years ago when they were overreached by the KGB's agents of influence in the so-called New Left (which was really the Old Left in drag).

I'd support Cruz until and unless he can't make it .... like Ronnie Reagan, his supporters are being told he can't win.

Not even Ronnie: he signed a couple of "compromise" bills on rising taxes -- "DEFRA" and "TEFRA" were coughed up by Bob Dole specifically to eliminate Reagan's tax breaks because Ronnie didn't run them by Uncle Bob and pay the proper respect -- and a bad one on immigration.
