For better or for worse, Ann Coulter was once considered one of the conservative movement's premiere storm troopers. She was wicked smart. She was tough as nails. And she seemed to actually enjoy being a woman in a growing age of naggy and dour feminism.

I miss that Ann. The one who still had the moral clarity to appear in worldview documentaries produced by the late Dr. D. James Kennedy. Unfortunately, it appears that Ann is long gone. She has been replaced with a sad caricature, which includes so many embarrassing meltdowns and contradictions it would require a whole separate column to chronicle them.

Nowadays Ann has had to metamorphose from provocateur to the punditry equivalent of "your mama" jokes with a side of bullying. For that's what happens to you when you start uttering complete nonsensical tripe like the following and call it a "hot take":

It’s also a play on what liberals say. I forget the exact line. Something about someone being able to do abortions in the White House and they would still love him.
So why don’t we stop it AND reject liberalism? Coulter is setting up a fear scenario. There is no reason we have some all or nothing choice here.

That I can certainly agree with. I will vote for Trump if he is our nominee. I’m tired of compromise candidates though.

Fraud coulter (nice German name) certainly comes up with zingers every now and then.
Sometimes, she states the prelude, then comes up with the subject and conclusion, leaving out the entire, sometimes a few paragraph's worth of reason.
Pretty much like old farts hanging around the bar, shooting pool, and sounding off joke punch lines, and everybody laughs.
LMAO.
And sometimes she pushes liberalism openly.
Total nonsense! Ronald Reagan was a master at principled pragmatism. He accomplished all that could be accomplished under the circumstances and didn't waste time fighting unwinnable battles.
The master of principled politics was Barry Goldwater. List one thing that he accomplished. Not three, just one!
Like it or not, successful politics is the art of compromise. That is the primary reason Conservatives never accomplish much of anything, as pure as their convictions might be.
