There is no such thing as an “irreversible” executive order. In fact, nothing supports such an order except a vague “moral authority”, or lacking that, power that grows out of the end of a gun barrel, as Chairman Mao would put it.

No matter how some may thunder it, legislation by executive action is not legislation at all, but a threat, real and existential, to the concept of promoting limited government and individual freedom, as it is unrepresentative and the very definition of tyranny. One person, or a small oligarchy, cannot and does not concern himself or itself with even considering or eliciting the opinions of the vast proportion of the population under their influence.

I agree. What can be done, can also be undone. EOs are not permanent LAW. Their intent and purview is twofold: to direct management guidance to those agencies under Executive control and to clarify existing law.

New ‘law’ by EO is unconstitutional as well as being applicable to normal citizens. It is only the willingness that citizens accept the rules and regulations on the agencies under Executive control impose on them. Regardless, they still have no basis in actual law solely by themselves.

If I were the next President my first action would be twofold: Fire every Cabinet Secretary, political appointment and every US Attorney in the country (perp walked out of their offices and off the premises by US Marshalls at 12:01PM January 20, 2017. Secondly, invalidate EVERY executive order and executive memorandum this Muslim EVER signed.

An executive order and an executive action are two very different things.

An executive order is documented, signed and put in place.
An executive action is different and usually takes the form of a verbal directive given by the president. At worst, there is no documentation or paper trail so it makes any subsequent legal action to reverse it very difficult...if not irreversible. This is what Obama/Jarrett are counting on.

Freeing his muzzie friends from Gitmo is irreversible.

"There is no such thing as an irreversible executive order."

There certainly is. For instance, Commander in Chief Obama could order the military to move all of the Gitmo prisoners off the island, onto ships. He could then turn the entire Guantanamo base over to the Castros, declaring the lease to be ended. The new president would be faced with the Guantanamo base occupied by Cuban military, and a boatload of war criminals.

Fortunately, Obama is likely too incompetent to be able to pull this off, but don't doubt he'll be trying.

President Trump can fire all of the left wing lawyers in the AG office, then he can rescind each Executive Order wirh his rescinding EO's. that Obama has forced on America after being sworn in before he leaves the swearing in site.
