âYouâve convinced me [of the need to pass the Dream Act].â [NBC Latino, 8/22/13] "I hate the concept of it, but on a humanitarian basis with whatâs happening, you have to [bring in Syrian refugees]." [Interview with Bill OâReilly, 9/8/15]
Regarding Kim Davis: âBecause we had a ruling from the Supreme Court and we are a country of laws and you have to do what the Supreme Court ultimately, whether you like the decision or not, and it was a 5-4 decision, whether you like the decision or not, you have to go along with the Supreme Court. Thatâs the way it is.â [Interview with Bill OâReilly, 9/8/15]
These comments were not made by Jeb Bush who sits at 3% in the polls; they were made by Donald Trump, the front-runner for the GOP nomination.
After spending an entire week discussing the Cruz citizenship issue, canât we have a debate over whether weâve properly vetted the frontrunner on some of the critical issues facing our nation?
Everyone becomes an intrepid conservative convert on the road to Des Moines.
It is self-evident to anyone with a modicum of love for the Republic that this is an election our nation and party cannot get wrong. Following eight years of Obamaâs fundamental transformation, the stakes are too high.
As someone who has vetted a number of congressional candidates who promised to be conservative but got sucked into the D.C. political vortex upon assuming office, Iâve seen that nobody runs in a primary as anything but a solid conservative. Everyone becomes an intrepid conservative convert on the road to Des Moines.

Maybe you should start with what David Horowitz has said and done in the past. This leftist clown Horowitz was a card-carrying member of the communist party until only recently.
I am saying Oy vey to so many threads these days.
Do you want a fantastic conservative candidate or a constitutional republic?
It’s like asking if you want a solid gold handled boar bristled luxury hairbrush, or a head of hair.
I feel the same way but only fools believe what trump is not, a conservative. I would be surprised if he has actually read the constitution within the last 40 years.
Republicans are desperate and are grabbing any hand that they can reach.
Trump has an organized group of online backers that push his propaganda. I see a dozen or so on FR. The message from each is basically the same and one is always posting. They probably take shifts.
Who is Mother Superior? Jim Rob? MOther Superior is generally a term referring to fascisti social control from the days of Mussolini..
Trump isn’t the only one. George Soros has more posters on FR than Trump or Cruz.
Great - if we also compare them to what the other side has to offer. We're so good at finding flaws in our side of the aisle that we forget what the other side really stands for and intends - even as we suffer through it.
We're so good at finding fault with our side that we forget it's our own fault for not investing ourselves in the process....
Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate (even if he's "rich enough to do it on his own") as the next President.
I donate to the candidate I support and you should too, else, your "support" really doesn't have any meaning.
It's even worse if you use FR and don't donate. If you are one of those who feel it's OK to use FR daily w/o helping pay to keep the lights on, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others' work for your own benefit. Also, don't be surprised if others decide that your opinions are as worthless as your non-donations - hypocrites aren't worth listening to.
PS - If you are one of those unlucky few who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....
No...Trump has told us numerous times why he cozied up to politicians of both stripes...Most everything he's done and said in the past was with the success of his business in mind...
We know what we don't want...We don't want a politician who sells us out at every turn...And that pretty much covers all of them...
If Trump turns out to be one of them, oh well, what did we lose??? But maybe, just maybe Trump is the real deal...
Trump has given far more money to Republicans...That evidence has been posted numerous times on FR...For you to imply otherwise is dishonest...
“Republicans are desperate and are grabbing any hand that they can reach.”
Well, first of all, within the Republican Party voters, there are few really conservatives today. If we had a majority conservative voter base we would not be where we are today. It’s taken a criminal president to take the country to the brink of no recovery to wake people up. Now you can rattle on about Trump’s credentials, but he resonates with a people who finally know just how bad it’s gotten. None of us knows what Trump will do as president, but we pretty much know what the others will do given the chance with the possible exception of Cruz.
Republicans have been elected off and on for decades... Presidents... control of Congress - off and on.
But NONE of those people - many who ran on fixing the border - EVER did ONE DAMN thing to make it better.
Even George Bush... nothing. Either one of ‘em.
Words are cheap. If Trump says he’ll fix the problem, he’ll fix the provblem.
