Appearing on the O'Reilly Factor last night, with guest host Juan Williams, radio host Leslie Marshall and conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart agreed that a potential Donald Trump candidacy is a bad sign for America.
Marshall warned America about what happens when you elect a celebrity for office like they did in California with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
"No experience, a lot of celebrity and a lot of cult of personality. And we see more of that in politics. So I would say don't underestimate the Donald.

"Quite frankly, this celebrity goes a long way. Remember, the number one reason people vote for a candidate, Juan, is name recognition. He has huge name recognition."
Breitbart also did not seem to be a fan of Trump either, saying "he is not a conservative." He also had a warning for Republicans if they don't get their act together.
"Celebrity is everything in this country. And if these guys don't learn how to play the media the way that Barack Obama played the media last election cycle and the way that Donald Trump is playing the election cycle, we're going to probably get a celebrity candidate."

Failure to understand Trump’s appeal to great swaths of Americans demonstrates obedience to PC elitism. Not all conservatives are free from PC influence.

Ok, little. Trump bashers have done this to death. Donald Trump has put his plans on the table in front of the whole American public. Most, and I hope all, of his supporters know that his policies won’t be strictly Conservative as some would like, including me. But Donald Trump is REAL! I believe he means to do exactly as he has told us he’s going to do.
I would like to know when is the last time you saw a “Conservative” that really was what they put themselves forth to be. I don’t think you’re old enough to have ever seen a real one. I voted for a whole bunch of Republicans who lied about having Conservative principles when they actually had none of any kind. In the issues that matter to me; right to life, immigration and American jobs, Trump has learned those values by experience, not adopted them as political chips.
Failure to see he’s a fraud demonstrates credulity. Not all “conservatives” are free of that wishful thinking.
So The Donald is not a conservative.
So cuffing what? Conservatives, after years of demonization by the sycophant liberal press, have only a slim chance of being elected anyway, and without The Donald to be busting trail and tweaking the noses of the RINO Establishment, Ted Cruz would have had his candles blown out and gone home a long time ago, as Jeb would have had the aura of inevitability mounded so high the entire rest of the field would have rapidly crumbled.
The Donald supporters showing up are, by and large, not conservative Republicans, and more importantly, not voting in the primaries. But they will be there in November for the general election, and The Donald is already playing for THAT prize.
Winning may not be everything. But losing isn’t ANYTHING.
Or, as Vince Lombardi was supposed to have said in regards to winning, “It’s the ONLY thing.”
Trump is as real as a Reality TV star. It’s that type of ability to brazenly bamboozle that ought to give folks a warning that they need to pause and think.
But... that was 4 years ago!
He has since seen the light and changed his views and he is now a fully committed “severe” conservative.... Just like.... What was his name? The guy that looked like a used car salesman..... Oh yeah..... Romney!

But loses to Hillary if he can’t get the other candidates supporters to support him which he’s not going to get with his and his supporters scorched earth campaign strategy.
Unless Trump is a complete idiot he knew that when he started his scorched earth campaign.
Yeah, it’s not like Reagan had a decades-long political career and helped build the conservative movement before he ran for President...

He was on reality TV show crap and pro wrestling for years and years. This makes me think if he wins the nomination he could possibly be yuge with the 10% of voters who are the dimbulb swing voters that supposedly decide national elections. And that’s not counting any abnormal turnout from the 40-50% of eligible voters that simply don’t bother to vote in national elections.

Who knows, but by Trump standards it is now a serious question that needs to be cleared up.
Here’s a simple statistical truth.
It’s come down to Trump and Cruz.
If Cruz wins the nomination he’ll need Trump supporters to win the general election. If Trump wins the nomination he’ll need Cruz supporters to win the general election.
Having loyal and committed, and vocal, supporters during a contested nomination process is critically important. It’s how candidates prove they can inspire and mobilize people, and how they are properly vetted (before the Dems and MSM really get hold of them)
But people need to keep sight of the fact that there will be an eventual nominee, and that person will be MAGNITUDES better than whoever the Dems put up. It makes no sense for supporters of either of these candidates to go blowing up bridges that can’t be quickly rebuilt.
Don’t care. This election is American nationalists vs globalists that dominate both parties. AFTER we stop the globalists, we can work on ideological purity.
Trump is the only American nationalist I see.

Patriots, please note the following about ”conservative.” Conservative does not necessarily mean constitutional. And while Trump is not necessarily conservative or constitutional at this time, I will gladly vote for Trump because not only is his heart in the right place imo, but he is also a quick study that can likely get up to speed with the federal governments constitutionally limited powers in no time imo.
Oh, so Breitbart is now a PC elitist, eh?
Yep. A good portion of FR seemingly has redefined “conservatism” as “whatever Trump says this week”.
