Lily Tang Williams , a Chinese immigrant from People's Republic of China, who is the State Chair of the Libertarian Party of Colorado, State Director of Our America Initiative, recent graduate of Leadership of the Rockies Class 2015, self-employed entrepreneur, professional speaker, grassroots liberty activist, and a Common Core fighter, announces her candidacy for U.S. Senate on a Libertarian ticket. She will challenge the Democrat incumbent Colorado Senator Michael Bennet.
Williams states, "I chose to come to America to be free and to escape China's one-party police state. I am a big believer of individual rights and liberty, self-ownership and responsibility, free market and entrepreneurship, the 2nd Amendment, and privacy. I will go to Washington to stop the madness. I cannot be bought."
America has become more and more like China with an increasingly powerful and seemingly unrestrained Federal government, spending and printing money to buy votes and please special interests.

Democrat plant. Seat will now go to the Rats.
Miss Lily is wasting her time as a libertarian
, but it’s a beginning. I hope this self made woman comes to the reconstituted republican party some time soon.
Remember to get elected, Hickenlooper ran as a conservative business man, with bad hair, who opposed most of the democrat platform. He has been on both sides of every issue. Bennett has proved weak. The Colorado establishment GOP has no media support. I’m not sure which side she will hurt worse. The Peoples Republic of Boulder, having modeled their government after Beijing, has a quandary on their hands.
The republican party is dead and stinking to high heaven. Chris Christie spent $177,000 to knock Tom Trando out of the governor race with a discernible lying add which stopped lots of republicans form voting for the other republican candidate. John Chickenpooper got elected because of the fat Christie nosing around in Colorado. What is worse for Colorado: a Christie goop or demorat plant or a demorat? She will be examined closely an I expect to vote for her.
Colorado, you could do worse. But then, you have for the past few election cycles.
If I still lived in Colorado, I would have Ms. Williams signs in my yard.
A sign maybe but not one with her face on it. She’s ugly.
The five main issues that the Libertarian Party is pushing are:
And did I mention: Legalize pot.
In recent years the Libertarian Party has morphed into something that would take votes away from the Democrats if they were to get their message out to the voting public.
The Peoples Republic of Boulder
Don’t forget the peoples republic of Ft Collins.
Your comment is the most immature, narrow-minded, and idiotic thing anybody has written on FR. Who cares what any person looks like?
Did you watch her video where she tells her life story growing up under communism in Chengdu, Szechuan, China? If not, I highly recommend you watch it and think more about what it is like to live your life under a vicious dictator where you have zero rights and must conform totally to what he wants. Once you understand that, you will know why she came to the US with only $100 in her pocket.
I have found people who fled here from communist regimes are often our best freedom fighters because they know how precious and fragile liberty is.
You need to overlook her appearance and Chinese accent — concentrate on her message and her love for America, instead. She is the classical American success story, literally up from nothing. She is to be congratulated for her determination and for her goal of getting elected to the U.S. Senate to fight the forces of darkness afoot in our land.
Hooray for Lily!
1. Legalize pot.
2. Open the borders.
3. Legalize pot.
4. No national defense.
5. Legalize pot.
And did I mention: Legalize pot.
LOL. Funny and true.
