The father of the billionaires Charles G. and David H. Koch helped construct a major oil refinery in Nazi Germany that was personally approved by Adolf Hitler, according to a new history of the Kochs and other wealthy families.
The book, âDark Money,â by Jane Mayer, traces the rise of the modern conservative movement through the activism and money of a handful of rich donors: among them Richard Mellon Scaife, an heir to the Mellon banking fortune, and Harry and Lynde Bradley, brothers who became wealthy in part from military contracts but poured millions into anti-government philanthropy.
But the book is largely focused on the Koch family, stretching back to its involvement in the far-right John Birch Society and the political and business activities of the father, Fred C. Koch, who found some of his earliest business success overseas in the years leading up to World War II. One venture was a partnership with the American Nazi sympathizer William Rhodes Davis, who, according to Ms. Mayer, hired Mr. Koch to help build the third-largest oil refinery in the Third Reich, a critical industrial cog in Hitlerâs war machine.

And their stenographers in the state-run media.
And Obama’s father was a hardcore communist. Only now are the deeds of parents an issue, apparently.
“...who found some of his earliest business success overseas in the years leading up to World War II.”
Wait... leading up to WWII? So, you know, when Germany was still not “the bad guy?”
Wait, is this story from the New York Times?
The New York Times...of Walter Durante* ignominy?
*Who visited the Soviet Union and wrote glowing stories about how Utopian communism was and denied the Ukrainian genocide and refused to relinquish his Pulitzer even after his blatant lies were revealed.
“Version” what exactly does that mean? There is only one God, one Christ, one path to heaven. Which version are you on?
I have ancestors who participated in the triangle trade in the caribbean and africa. What does that tell you about who I am? Not a damn thing.

“Hitler was a power-holic. This is why he couldnât stop; ironically if he had, we might be giving him honorable mentions in a very different world history.”
So, the only mistake Hitler made was an excessive pursuit of power? If he had stopped after the conquest of Poland, he would have been honorable? After Holland? After Belgium? France?
And George Soros, darling and financier of most anti-American schemes being perpetrated in our Land in the last several decades; got his start by changing his name, posing as a gentile, and helping agents of the German heirarchy destroy millions of Jews, and steal their property.

So, I’m just guessing, by the time it came for the USAAF to bomb the refinery we knew all about its location and structure from information supplied by Koch’s Company
I agree w/ your assessment.
Last time I checked, the sins of the parent are NOT visited upon the children in this society!
They are free to screw up on their own here! :-)
The whiny communist Ms. ‘Who the He#@ cares’ can go pound sand.
“FFFFs” ??
Long before Hitler, the Communists invaded Poland in their quest for Europe.
More than anything else, this exposes the political nihilism of the Left.
The Left is incapable of feeling shame, its just who they are, while Conservatives who have higher morals and ethics do.
Thats why attacks like these on Conservatives work, while counterattacks on Liberals for the Kennedys or Soros don’t.
Your friends at Time Magazine once made Hitler Man of the Year. Doing an article on that too?
And FDR sold the Japanese the steel they used to build their battleships.
Go after him, bigots.
Bigots? I have very little respect for FDR. The most “over rated” President.
LOL! Leave it to the NYT to write such a BS article such as this.
I wonder when they will come clean with THEIR involvement with communists and nazis?
