Senator Ted Cruz has positioned himself as a strong opponent of same-sex marriage, urging pastors nationwide to preach in support of marriage as an institution between a man and a woman, which he said was “ordained by God.â€
But on Monday night, at a reception for him at the Manhattan apartment of two prominent gay hoteliers, the Texas senator and Republican presidential hopeful struck quite a different tone.
During the gathering, according to two people present, Mr. Cruz said he would not love his daughters any differently if one of them was gay. He did not mention his opposition to same-sex marriage, saying only that marriage is an issue that should be left to the states.

Now, the REST of the story. The donor who hosted this event, in his apartment, was only weeks earlier involved in what can perhaps be described as a typical gay lifestyle incident: cruising gay bars to find very young men, taking them home, doing drugs...well, just read the news report. His is the same donor and same APARTMENT where the following took place shortly before the donor's meeting:

It’s a typical gotcha question. Consider the source.
Ask him if he would love them differently if one ended up in prison. No. He would be disappointed in the one who chose a life of crime. He would pray and try to help change her ways. To ask if he would stop loving the child is just absurd and political abuse to the candidate, his supporters, and his children.
As for the rest, it is just the logical fallacy of guilt by association. He was at a fundraiser in an apartment where such and such happened.... Shame on all involved in this hit piece. I expect it from the NYTimes, but freepers??
Cruz is the best candidate on social issues. Trump OWNS Casinos with strip clubs and lap dancers. He makes his billions on that sort of social deviancy. Far more than just having a fundraiser in one.
I’ve seen posts claiming that Trump is for gay rights because he’s said that the SCOTUS law is law.
