On the Sunday broadcast of "The Cats Roundtable" on New York City's AM 970, host John Catsimatidis spoke about the upcoming 2016 presidential election with economist Arthur Laffer, a former member of President Ronald Reagan's economic policy advisory board.
Laffer not only predicted a victory for the GOP, but he would be "surprised" if they did not take as many as 47 of the 50 states.
"I would be surprised if the Republicans don't take 45, 46, 47 states out of the 50," he said. "I mean, I think we're going to landslide this election."[continued]

It was Christmas Midnight Service in an Episcopal church.
Tag line pending..... Pathetic. Look at mine. Unless we take the battle to them, our throats will be slit in our sleep. Wake the hell up....
TEA is not served with crumpets, buttercup.
My “sign-on” date is due to not having a personal computer and internet prior to that period. I’m not wealthy.
Since my most important issue is saving unborn children from the holocaust, I would have to say that Ted Cruz would be my choice. He has a lot of issues that I might disagree with, but the fact of the matter is that the United States is going to hell in a handbasket because we have no moral foundation.
Ted Cruz is a God Fearing Evangelical Christian who has a proven track record of supporting the unborn and individual liberty.
Ted Cruz can beat any democrat they put up. Obama is the second coming of Carter. Reagan won in a landslide because America was fed up with mediocrity and wanted a leader.
Trump can probably win the election, but I don’t really trust that he is who he claims to be. He claims to be a “Christian” but has a very loose definition of the term.
Has Trump ever even sent a nickle to any pro-life charities? He sent a lot of money to pro-choice candidates.
Get out of your damned pulpit rev. You are a touchy feely buttercup. Let us men handle this and get yo b!tch ass back in the kitchen. The women are about to screw up the green been casserole. :-) They need you. They might cry.
He claims to be a Presbyterian. The Episcopal church is in open apostasy against God.
Been = bean. Damned autocorrect.
Get your damned religion out of politics. Right is right... Apostasy is bullshit. Idiots like you ruin it.
To paraphrase the late JFK, I DON’T think Mr. Laffer is on to something. (JFK said that about Joe McCarthy’s communist investigations.)
Well, AR people must have seen something there; they really like Mr. Bill but scolded him in 1980.
I will support either candidate. Each has their baggage. Each has their strength. I think they might not be running against Hillary. If they connect her foundation to the mishandled top secret document about north Korean nukes, then she’s toast. Who will the dem party draft? That’s how I think they’ll handle it.
Let me tell you a truth no one else has ever told you.
Live by Christian values = good people
Live by Jewish values = good people
Live by Sikh values = good people
Live by Hindu values = good people
Live by about any other religion = good people
Live by Moslem values = evil degenerate pedophiles rapist thieves and murderers.
Drop your damned apostasy bullshit and focus on who the enemy is.
In case you hadn't noticed, Free Republic is a pro-life, pro-God, pro-gun forum. If you don't like mixing religion and politics, you need to find a new forum.
Read my post above this one buttercup
And you insult a Christian sect as being an apostasy, and then you run to mommy. Pathetic. You checked your man card at the door. Wuss. Pansy. Obama voter? Post to Jim if you want. He will see you wear bloomers, girly man.
The Episcopal Church (which ordains as priests homosexuals who divorce their wives, leave their families and marry men) is in open apostasy.
If saying that upsets you, then you are the Wuss and Pansy and girly man and Obama voter.
Post to Jim if you want.
Done.
You left out Shinto Buddhism.
Feel free. I stand by my posts.
Everybody’s rreligion is part of their politics, doofus. It’s just some don’t admit it.
