Somewhere Karl Marx is smiling: Bernie Hints at Warren for Veep
Legal Insurrection ^ | January 11, 2016

In what would be a dream ticket for some and a nightmare to others, Bernie Sanders has been dropping some not-so-subtle hints that he would select Elizabeth Warren as his running mate.

This would be a smart move on Bernie's part. He has been functioning as a stand-in for Warren and derives support from her wing of the Democratic Party. The left would be electrified.

The rest of the country would be horrified as these two Neo-Marxists traveled the land promising to take wealth from some and give to others.

I agree. I think Bernie’s a bigger threat than Hitlery.

Excellent point.

Joe had his chance. Warren could likely have whipped Sanders and Hillary but these are the cards they’ve got to play on the left. It’s going to be ugly on both sides.

Well, there’s been little, if at all, push-back from the ‘home team’ to begin.

Of course, if they did, the whole house of cards begins to crumble, when the People finally start thinking, “If ABC is not ‘legal’, why is XYZ?”

And, We can’t rely upon the Courts, they’ve been in the ‘standing/precedent’ hole for ~100 yrs. Citing and following the Constitution is as foreign a concept as the buggy whips to the Gen-X’ers.

The GOP can't do anything about voter fraud in the states that found to have discrimination against blacks.

Yes, I recall reading something about that. The GOP (stupidly) signed some sort of agreement where they waived their rights to make such challenges.

Which is, of course, very ironic. Historically, it was the Democrats who tried to prevent blacks from voting. Ike did a lot to help the blacks, and it was LBJ who condemned them to generations of poverty. But LBJ knew that would capture the black vote, and that was all that mattered.

Ha! You expected our govt indoctrination skools to teach basic economics, let alone critical thinking?

Even using the easiest of expressions (”There is ALWAYS someone ‘more needy’ than YOU”), the cognitive association just isn’t there.

Maybe she (Warren) has black ancestry too.

Not now, but eventually she will.

I'm thinking more like living in the back of my truck. The property taxes on your tent are gonna kill ya.

Well, the time to ‘fix’ things is when you have the power to do so. Unfortunately, We have given them the ability a few times over the past 30 yrs and it’s gotten worse; albeit SLOWER.

They COULD have put through voter IDs, strict absentee voting, lessening voting windows (no 7-day crap), auditing and prosecuting (instead of slaps-on-the-wrist).

They know they gets theirs regardless, so why care about the game? Why change?

Putting a picture of Sanders on a Soviet flag, that's unfair, and over the line. It's not like Sanders honeymooned in Moscow, or anything like that.

Oh, wait a minute. Sanders did spend his honeymoon in Moscow. So on second thought, well-played McGruff!

I’m starting to hope Comey holds off on an indictment. Would rather see Hillary vs a conservative than Bernie and Warren.

Hillary picks Al Gore then resigns due to health early 2017.

Why else the W. H. global warming push against all logic or popularity.
