To me, I’m kind of perplexed. They seem like they’re questioning their sexual identity, political identity or their sanity or something. Seems a bit incoherent to me, actually. I almost get the sense they are genuinely disappointed in her campaign and trying to shock her back into reality or something.

My impression, is that yes, they WERE Hillary supporters at one time, but she’s such a bad candidate that they have simply given up on her and have completely turned against her. Sort of like IF Jeb! had had any supporters early on who gave up on him and turned against him. I read the whole thing and don’t see that they’re trying to help her redeem herself.
