That doesn't address the main issue.
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Until the definition of "Natural Born Citizen" has been decided once and for all the the SCOTUS, the threat of litigation remains for Senator Cruz.

That’s what people keep telling them, but they think they can just talk it away, and hope the Democrats dont bother because they are such nice fellows.

SCOTUS does not make laws. Congress does. And the law concerning birthright citizenship was first made in 1790. Cruz us a natural born citizen. Then, now and always. No matter what the doofus Grayson and his followers yap about.

It’s been decided.

“A child born abroad to one U.S. citizen parent and one alien parent acquires U.S. citizenship at birth under Section 301(g) of the INA provided the U.S. citizen parent was physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for the time period required by the law applicable at the time of the child’s birth. (For birth on or after November 14, 1986, a period of five years physical presence, two after the age of fourteen, is required. For birth between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986, a period of ten years, five after the age of fourteen, is required for physical presence in the United States or one of its outlying possessions to transmit U.S. citizenship to the child.) The U.S. citizen parent must be the genetic or the gestational parent and the legal parent of the child under local law at the time and place of the child’s birth to transmit U.S. citizenship.”

So, about Trump’s mother...do we have PROOF that the British stripped her of British citizenship upon her naturalization as a US citizen?

Clearly Congress has the responsibility to end this recurring debate.

I cannot tell you how irrelevant this article is to the Article II eligibility issue to be President of this country. I am flabbergasted at the false rabbit chasing by intelligent people on “Citizenship” of his mother, his father or any of that. Put all of that aside. Cruz is a citizen by birth to at least 1 citizen parent any where in the world or MARS!! That does not address his eligibility to be president under the “natural Born Citizen” requirement of the constitution of the United States. ZERO!! The issue is — does that term require one to be born on US SOIL ? In my opinion— it does but I could be wrong but somebody better find out quick!!
