Trump Jr.: My father is saying things that need to be said
FoxNews ^ | Jan 6 2016 | Hannity interview: Don Trump Jr (video)

Posted on 01/08/2016 9:08:44 AM PST by Albion Wilde

Like his father, Donald Trump Jr gets right to the point. There are no wasted words in this interview. Don Jr, a principal executive of the Trump Organization and a father of five, covers a number of topics in under six minutes, including his personal interest in Second Amendment freedoms.

Lots of great quotables in this brief video, such as, "He's a straight-talking guy... and that's what he's going to bring to the table."

I absolutely love his family. His kids are smart, well spoken and are a testament to their parents. I watch Fox Business just about every morning and before her Dad announced his run, Ivanka was on the show discussing the Trump business. I was so impressed at how brilliant she was.

I loved that interview. “Blue collar man with a big balance sheet”.

Seems like the Trumps could comfortably blend into any living room conversation.

Wow, Trump Jr is great. Wonder if he ever thought of running for President (down the line). He clarified why his father is running now versus in 2012—Trump is concerned about leaving his company in capable hands as so many depend on him. This is the right time to pass the baton to the three siblings.

Trump’s three oldest children: Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric - are from the first marriage to Ivana, who is an immigrant from Slovakia, I believe.

All three adult children in his business are from his 15-year marriage to Ivana. From them he has 7 grandchildren: five from Don Jr, two from Ivanka (with another on the way), and Eric only married a couple of years ago. His daughter Tiffany is 22, from his 5-year marriage to Marla. He has been with Melania for 18 years, married more than 10. Their son Barron is 9.

I was most impressed with the Trump grown children from the beginning of The Apprentice 10 years ago, from the confidence and knowledgeabilty with which they consulted with the contestants and their father in the boardroom. Before that, I had been impressed with Trump’s business skills but turned off by his marriage difficulties. However, on observing the way he and Melania relate, I think he has finally got it right. The deep mutual regard between them is clear to see.

Ivana was from Czechoslovakia. Marla was from Georgia, US. Melania is from Slovenia.

Sorry for your passive-aggressive reading comprehension difficulties. Don’t worry; I have confidence you’ll work it out.

Sorry your candidate makes you squirm. The voters will help you work that out.

I’m perfectly fine with my candidate. I’ve been married more than once myself. Jesus forgave the woman at the well; but you seem to feel you know better than He does.

You are fine with your candidate and bring up Jesus’s forgiveness...

Your candidate proudly told the world he has never asked for forgiveness.

Go ahead and squirm from your candidate some more and turn that into something about me.
