Son picked some up in Kansas City, flown in, for 13.99 a lb last weekend, and I thought that was pretty cheap! LoL

Grandfather owned a Lobster Dock in Maine, grew up playing with them, haha.
We lived in Chicago for 17 years and boy did I miss fresh seafood! Most people don't know this, but NYC and the Island are also ( well used to be, I don't know how it is now ) a great place to go clamming and for mussles. All of the N.E. states have lobstering so they're cheaper here and fresh.
There are still farms here, so the grocery stores carry their produce. :-)
