Absolutely right.

Its destruction is a tragedy and national disgrace.

Thriving, dynamic cities like Detroit was in its heyday are national treasures.

And just think, Detroit was destroyed by venal, greedy, shortsighted politicians and foolish national policy.

Even worse - Almost every other American city is being destroyed in the same way.

At different rates and at different stages of decline but almost all headed in the same direction.

It’s a Good Thing that the people who enjoyed that nice home long ago are certainly not around to see these evil days.
