Can’t remember a time we didn’t have C & H Sugar in my home. As a young child we had it. During my youth and transition to adult, I’ve always had it in the home.

I wonder if this will affect C & H Sugar company.

They seem to have diversified their sources.

Hope this isn’t the precursor to it going out of business.

Hawaii German immigrant Claus Spreckles brought the idea of sugar plantations to Hawaii and founded C&H . He might have been Austrian or Swiss m by I think German .
There is a Sprecklesville on Maui , one of the few places with a haole name

I have used exclusively C&H my whole life. I am really sad to hear about this. Need to research who else makes cane sugar, not beet sugar.
