Donald Trump told a national television audience he would disassemble many of President Obama’s executive orders, including his looming ones on gun control, in his first hours in the White House, if elected.
“I mean … the one thing good about executive orders, the new president, if he comes in – boom, first day, first hour, first minute, you can rescind that,†Trump said, during a talk on “Face the Nation†on CBS.

Huff Po today is begging Zero to, "GO IT ALONE" on gun control.
They'll be in complete meltdown when Trump does the same thing on any number of issues.
Apparently HuffPo the nullification process (ala the OJ Jury) is lost on them. There aren’t enough ATF agents or FBI in this country to police individual sales. If they could, they would have gotten a handle on the sale of guns between criminals already.
Don’t stop with the Kenyan’s outrages.
Clinton issued a raft of nation destroying EO’s. Repeal all of them.
And while we’re at it, repeal the grandaddy of them all - EO11286.
They want to make everyone a criminal.
Gun charges are used for small time drug charges by prosecutors because:
1. Federal. They pay for it and perps do most of the time to which they are sentenced.
2. Easy to prove. “You’re a felon and you had a gun?”
3. They can ship the convicted out of state to do their time.
Mark my words, the minute a Republican president does 1/10th of the executive orders Obama has done they will suddenly scream bloody murder and start a chorus of separation of powers and executive overreach. They will suddenly be morally outraged that a Republican president would do such a thing!
All the people that drank during prohibition were criminals.
They are trying to do to gun ownership what has been done to smokers. Piece by piece they want to destroy this God-given right.

I am against Obama’s tyrannical EOs but they do not have to go after all of the sales. They just have to prosecute a few high profile cases to scare everyone else into stop selling.

The good thing is unlike past Republican presidents Trump won't give a flying eff what the media is going to say. And judging by his record he will only double down and tripple down.

Correct - there is no way they can police the trade of guns among convicted felons and parolees.
...BUT...it only takes a few agents and a few stings to quash the trade of guns among the rest of us.
How exactly do they find out you sold a gun to your relative, neighbor friend or whoever? They depend on scaredy cats for this to work.
To be even caught, the gun would first have to have been logged as a purchase by the seller. The police would have to recover a weapon used in a crime and then track it back to the manufacturer and THEN to the store it shipped it to, and THEN requiring the seller to produce the Form 4473 for that weapon and THEN tag the purchaser......
Some people have weapons that have never been bought under a Form 4473....what’s the ‘trail’ on those?
You’re thinking “we’re law abiding Americans, blah, blah blah?” Not any more. Obama redefined “the law” by his continual flouting of “the law”.

You are falling for a leftist talking point. Executive orders are often used for very mundane procedural items.
Here’s a few of Bush’s:

- Executive Order: Adjustments of Certain Rates of Pay
- Executive Order: Granting Reciprocity on Excepted Service and Federal Contractor Employee Fitness and Reinvestigating Individuals in Positions of Public Trust
Sure, many of Barry’s are just as mundane. But not all of them. The nature of his executive orders is very different than his predecessors. Merely counting them is a liberal trick.
