Where is a the infrastructural push to get them to run on CNG as these engines will run cleaner on it? Especially if it is cheaper? It would need a new class of small and fungible fuel tanks to fit these devices. Hugh win-win IMHO, greater margins, cleaner, and go after a segment that is not "dirty", but could be cleaner.

Because the issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution. The socialists want the government to run the auto industry, so it is attacked as being non-green, with the solution being a combination of government take-over (GM) and crony capitalism (Tesla). The weed-whacker industry is chicken feed. The issue is never the issue...

Propane exports have dramatically increased and by growing that supply and distribution market, prices have fallen.

People don’t invest for infrastructure and supply when the product saturates the market.

That sets the stage for the return of the U.S. (and Texas) as one of the world's largest energy exporters.

Great news.

Why hasn't Obola sicked the EPA or the DOE on Cheneire yet?

I'd rather run on CNG that tha[t] crap...

Taxis in Japan were running on LPG in the late 1960s, with very little maintenance because of the clean fuel and with swapping fuel tanks instead of fill-ups. If they could do it with 1960s technology, we could certainly do it with 2016 technology--but then that would take government out of the picture, and the power grabs out of the picture, and not to repeat myself, but the issue is never the issue, the issue is always the revolution.

This is good news, but I wish we hadn’t had to fund terrorist refugees and illegal immigrants and planned parenthood, to name a few, just to be able to export oil.

Point taken. But a gent like T. Boone Pickens could make it happen on the free market side, granted he is an “interesting” character which could hijack this thread. Another point is Ethanol is not running worth a crap in these engines. How many of my friends and neighbors have had carburetor rebuilds in the last year? I can think of at least 3...

There is a domestic market for every bit of energy we have.

actually it is done to make a sale.

to make a profit, one must first sell. producing and not selling is a meaningless endeavor

likewise, producing at a price that can’t be sold is also a meaningless endeavor

You don't have to convince me of that; I've had two turbo rebuilds on my crossover in the last <5 years, $1000 each time, and I'm sure it's the ethanol--the only non-ethanol fuel in the area is for motorboats, and it can't be configured for autos (I'm sure I wasn't the first to ask).

Natural resources cans stay in the ground for the use by future Americans. I'd rather have that than a sausage eating euro winos using it up.

Is some sinister organization hoarding gas?

Are you in favor of price controls?

< misnomer > Free Trade < /misnomer >, as practiced over the last 30 years, has led to high unemployment, huge trade deficits and a general malaise leading us towards socialism. Other that that it has been a complete success.

Who said that? No, the domestic demand will set the price. Or it can stay in the ground, it is a natural resource that has future value to Americans.
