Actually, if he were secretly downing Twinkies at bedtime every night that would explain Jeb’s behavior better than anything a low carb diet was likely to cause. :)

Probably from not wanting to run to begin with. When it became evident it wouldn’t be a coronation he checked out.

True. Lowcarb increases energy.

Amazing how Trump can tag a person, and it sticks to them like glue...
1. Jeb and Carson low energy
2. Hillary, sleeps a lot
3. Rubio sweats more than anyone he’s ever seen
4. Carly her persona is not presidential
5. Cruz a maniac that turned off a lot in his party
6. Obama lazy
7. Etc.

His low energy campaign is very similar to Hillary’s low energy campaign. Bush just thought he could run a few ads, have a couple of meet and greets, and raise a ton of money, and have the nomination handed to him. It didn’t work in his case. Hillary has the same low energy campaign going, a few stage managed events with planted questions, some softball interviews, and raising tons of money. It is working in her case, but when she’s forced to really take on the rigors of a real campaign, she may very well have a stroke or a nervous breakdown.
