NEW EMAIL shows Pentagon ASKED Hillary to LET THEM send help to Benghazi, proving Leon Panetta LIED!

An email recently obtained by Judicial Watch shows that the Pentagon was demanding Hillary allow them to send help to Benghazi during the 2012 attack. This would completely contradict the claim from Hillary and Leon Panetta that no forces were available and within reach to provide help to the compound that was under siege.

From Fox News:

As the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was unfolding, a high-ranking Pentagon official urgently messaged Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s top deputies to offer military help, according to an email obtained by Judicial Watch.

The revelation appears to contradict testimony Defense Secretary Leon Panetta gave lawmakers in 2013, when he said there was no time to get forces to the scene in Libya, where four Americans were killed, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens.

“I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [apparent reference to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton],” reads the email, from Panetta’s chief of staff Jeremy Bash. “After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.”

The email was sent out at 7:19 p.m. ET on Sept. 11, 2012, in the early stages of the eight-hour siege that also claimed the lives of Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith and two former Navy SEALs, Ty Woods and Glen Doherty, private CIA contractors who raced to the aid of embattled State Department workers.

Although the email came after the first wave of the attack at the consulate, it occurred before a mortar strike on the CIA annex killed Woods and Doherty.

“This leaves no doubt military assets were offered and ready to go, and awaiting State Department signoff, which did not come,” Judicial Watch, a nonprofit government watchdog said in a statement.

Parts of the email from Bash were redacted before release, including details on what military forces were available.

But, if you want to know what forces were likely to be available, all you have to do is listen to, or read, the account from an ex Special Forces member who explained it to Bryan Suits on the “Dark Secret Place,” a popular radio show in Los Angeles.

In the interview from November of 2012, he explained why Panetta’s claim was a LIE, and described the CIF which stands for Commanders In extremis Force, that could have been sent to Benghazi:

[The CIF is a] heretofore little known American option…You’ve probably never heard that before. It’s not secret per se, but it’s not publicized very much… the CIF, as it’s called is something that is available to every theater commander.

The CIF are US army special forces soldiers who are specifically dedicated to being prepared at all times for months on end to leave with no notice, with little or no information to move by air or whatever vehicle, to a situation, that they have been determined to be the best immediate solution to. They oftentimes get in the air with absolutely no idea where they’re going or what the mission is. Oftentimes they are briefed in the air.”

“The entire purpose of this [CIF]… in the extreme, there is no worse case than this. Something is happening right now, and we don’t have 24 hours to get Delta force in there. Something is happening right now, and that’s why these forces, the CIF are pre-positioned… to at the drop of a hat, to go anywhere and do anything.

It’s time to explain what is angering so many people in the special operations community, because they’re aware of the CIF.

He then explained why Panetta was lying about there not being enough time to send them:

The bottom line is this – did the president have an option? He did. What Leon Panetta said about “real-time information”, when Leon Panetta was saying that on Thursday, we know that’s a LIE. Because we’ve known for weeks that there was a predator drone orbiting the Benghazi consulate. Have US forces been sent places with less information? YES. I can personally vouch for being sent places where my initial mission was to find out what was going on.

There’s no such principle that you don’t deploy people without information.

So there it is. Panetta and Hillary LIED to the American public over and over, and the media never pressed them enough to demand answers.

And this information has been available since a MONTH after the attack…

Because someone made him an offer he couldn’t refuse?

Good point, but what you describe doesn’t sound like a blunder, or even an oversight to me.

Willful neglect? Is that the correct term?

I would think (something democrats apparently don’t do) that a Secretary of State would have a secure phone with them at all times for just such situations.

I know when I was with USARPAC the CG and the CINPAC always had one.

“I hope Trump goes on all the networks tomorrow with this news.”

I’d rather see him save it. Let her secure the dem nomination, then utterly destroy her.

At this point Bernie poses a bigger threat to Trump that Hillary.

"There are people on FR hoping Trump wins and governs as a dictator. Doesn’t matter if it’s Trump or anyone else. We have so called conservatives that disdain the Constitution and have no desire to keep it, a republic or anything of the sort."

Call it willful neglect or whatever. Bottom line is that Gowdy turned out to be a huge disappointment. Patriotic Americans and historians would want to know what orders the political civilian leaders gave the Commander of the 6th Fleet during the crisis. It was a virtual certainty that the 6th Fleet was monitoring the situation in Benghazi and elements were steaming at flank speed to intervene. Ken H makes excellent points. For some reason Gowdy was persuaded to back off from meaningful inquires. Sad but in retrospect not surprising. No doubt he has a few foibles in his closet well known by Obama/Clinton operatives

Wow. Someone actually said it. Like it is possible!

I have been saying it for years. I am trying to get everyone else saying it as well. It *IS* the number one problem we face in this nation. The Left Wing Media produce a constant spew of left wing "normalization" of their ideas. They infuse virtually everything they do with a left wing world view.

And don't try to tell me it isn't possible because Hollywood didn’t produce Act of Valor, which is one of the best loved movies, and it was totally void of left wing tampering in it’s story.

We are making headway, but we need far more progress in this direction. We have been losing the war because they have so much control over what ideas and opinions get heard by the people.

I have a theory that the original Star Wars "A New Hope" came along when we as a culture were in a deep funk after Watergate, Viet Nam and over all defeated morale. That single movie, which pitted the small band of rebels against a Soviet style empire, with nothing but determination and will and right on their side, and they won. The next election was a landslide Reagan win, and a turning point in our country's fight against communism combined with economic renewal.

The funny thing is, George Lucas intended for Star Wars to be about Vietnam. The "Rebels" were supposed to represent the "brave and courageous" Vietcong fighting against an imperialist oppressor. (Meant to be represented by us.)

The United States was meant to be the vast and mighty "Evil Empire."

Unfortunately for that Stupid commie loving asswipe, the public didn't see it that way. It backfired on him, but yeah, "Star Wars" was meant to be anti-American propaganda, just like most of what comes out of Hollyweird.

Conservatism needs it's own hollywood culture to defend conservative values as hollywood defends liberal.

It does, but it needs more than that. It needs deliberate efforts on the part of conservatives to cut Hollywood's Liberal economic throat. Glenn Reynolds is constantly mentioning that we need to "Repeal the Hollywood Tax cuts". That's a start. We need to use every means at our disposal to make their propaganda efforts cost them dollars. We need to obliterate their ability to make dollars with left wing activism.

I keep saying that but good luck finding a staunch chest beating Bible thumping bitter clinger that will give up Dish/Cable. Everytime I mention it I get flooded with excuses about why that snowflake is special and their monthly $100 tithe to Hollywood doesn’t get used for evil.

I have come to the conclusion that Television itself is inherently evil. It is a narcotic. People become addicted to it just as they would to a drug.

We were better people when we didn't have Liberal propaganda disguised as entertainment spewing into living rooms every day.

Do you know what people do when they can't watch television? It doesn't matter, but it is always more beneficial and productive than what they do when they watch television.

Television ruins us in more ways than just the normalization of propaganda. It wastes our time. Time better spent doing almost anything else.

BINGO! It absolutely should have stopped the 2nd Obama win. But Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers should have stopped the first. This pres is insulated. Benghazi is a terrible tragedy.

Using the phrase “stand down” is misleading. The phrase has a specific military meaning which does not appear to have applied here. The forces were told not to go...not told to stand down.

The last time I had TV, Dale Earnhardt took his last bite of concrete. Since then I have SOMEHOW managed to survive (rether well actually) without dish, Cable, an antenna, HULU/Netflix or any other paid propaganda outlet.

Having been a reporter/Editor I fully understand how the system works from the inside. What is frustrating as hell is that it is so obvious and yet people refuse to see it. Or more to your point, refuse to kick their addiction as you so aptly put it.

It certainly wasn’t known how long the attack would take either...so no good reason not to send support.

Personally, I look at this as one simple piece in the greater Cloward Piven plan. Yes it’s bad and I don’t mean to be flippant saying this at all. But in a big picture sense, it accomplishes a few things. It contributes to CP, it spreads chaos in the ME, it destroys military morale, it weakens us in the eyes of the world miilitarily and in credibility.

All these things are puzzle pieces. This Benghazi issue, Gitmo, BLM, the unemployment issue, Obamacare...all of it.

We look at things individually. We refuse to contemplate that it’s all one plan. The one the communists have been working on since Marx. And we refuse to contemplate it because we all contributed to empowering it in some way. And that upsets us greatly.
