Here's the difference: Trump's undoubted dealings with the tri-state area real estate/government corruption machine, his "departures from conservatism", etc., etc. do not make him unelectable. Whether or not the fact that he's been successful in the world as most people experience it is a PLUS for the average voter remains to be seen.

This bats*ht crazy "Christian" stuff, however, if any of it sticks to Cruz makes him a guaranteed electoral disaster.

You can say that's "not worthy of comment" all you like, but some very serious people here (and me) are rightly concerned about it.
