President Obama approved a bill on Monday banning soaps, toothpastes, and bodywashes that contain a harmful ingredient. That ingredient is microbeads â tiny, nearly impossible-to-dissolve plastic particles that enter water streams by the billions. The beads are typically found in cleansing products because they can be used as tiny scrubbers, helping to wipe away oil and dirt from the skin or teeth.

We’re fighting the threat from micro beads but not ISIS.
A liquid hand soap is only any good if it contains “fine Italian pumice”. Are these “microbeads” the modern day equivalent of fine Italian pumice?
Nothing against macro boobs, mind you.
We have to pick our battles. ISIS is way too hard.
Agreed.
“What have you got against macro boobs?”
“Nothing and that’s why I’m upset!”
Micro is too tiny. Macro ? Well, just not so big you break your thumbs.
If I drink enough water, I don't get enough fiber and vice versa.
LOL!
That is kind of my memory of Lava soap. Every household should have a bar of Lava soap - just never use it.
I think it was supposed to be kept in a glass case. Break open in case of a DefCon 1 dirt emergency. Or something.
I vaguely recall that it would not lather up, but it had the good texture of sandpaper.
Bfl
>>they blow them from my neighbor’s yard into mine.
Just be grateful dog walkers don’t carry ‘leaf’ blowers.
Yes. Toothpaaste is not a good place for them. Use regular with a decent brush instead.
we need something to trade with the micro Indians. if we don’t have them we cant buy micro Manhattan from the micro Indians.
I just found it for $5.99 on the internet -—sold! I’ll put that in our Airstream...it should be fun.
Ya’ll just get yourselves a bar of simple soap, or a bottle
of Dr. Bronner’s liquid multi-purpose soap, or a bar of
Dr. Bronner’s soap that is also multi-purpose, even use it
for shampoo & tooth cleaner.
Forget all the fancy this and that. Use plain old apple cider vinegar as underarm deodorant and hair rinse.
Go natural. Smell like a human being.
I think you and the environment and the little fish in the Great Lakes are safe from your Miralax. Polyethylene glycol dissolves in water. Polyethylene beads don’t.
It almost sounds like you are trying to hustle snake-oil to Micronesians.
Can we have a moment of silence for the deceased?
But except for one annoyance, it works better than prune juice, MOM, and I thought I was going to have luck with some probiotics, but got the mother of all stomach aches one evening, may try them once more as they seemed to pick up where the Miralax left off. I only take it as needed. It says for temporary relief. But the dr seems to think it's ok to take every day. That is too much for me. It would go the other way after more than two or three days at a smaller capful. Any smaller, there's no point in taking it.
Thanks for the reassurance.
I spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the dentist because I got blackberry seeds or hairs under my gums. It was a mess.
He also warned me about 3D Crest with the plastic beads.
I also use coconut oil on my teeth and he said many of his patients have success with it.
