A liquid hand soap is only any good if it contains “fine Italian pumice”. Are these “microbeads” the modern day equivalent of fine Italian pumice?

AFAIK, Goop is the same as it was when it was invented in the late 1940s.

Interesting fact I found while looking up Goop. The guy who invented it was a tank gunner under Gen Patton. He was one of the Hellcats =>

But the story of GOOP really started back in 1943, when our founder, John Critzas, was drafted at the young age of 18 to serve his country in World War II. As a Sherman tank gunner in the 12th Armored Division under General George Patton, John belonged to the group of brave young men known as the Hellcats. During his service, he took part in numerous heroic missions, including rescues and concentration camp liberations.
