In fact that'd be pretty close to a prefect war. Every body would hit the floor to thunderous applause.
Shiite vs Sunni war would be a win-win for us infidels.
They really have no army to protect their petroleum and natural gas resources, so they hire foreigners to do that.
When we were over there they had RAE DIK DAE LIM, South Korean regular army who worked in construction jobs as well.
Their living compound announced their station in life: it was SPOTLESS. They even had painted the rocks WHITE that were used to show the perimeters of their camp.
The Saudi government also held death sentences (head chopping) on Friday mornings. We actually had one in our local town. We COULD HAVE gone to observe it but we passed on it. The guy getting executed, a Saudi, had committed murder.
The Iranians are interesting. They are NOT Arabs and they hold their noses up at all Arabs. The Arabs USED to be some of God's poorest people on earth. NOW, however, they have all the money in the world.
The Iranians still hold up their noses because they are NOT Arabs.
Lol. Little do they know that most Westerners lump all those "middle easterners" together...and not in a nice way.
I certainly hope we never spend another American life protecting their miserable hides.
99% of all Muslims are Sunni. Iranians are Shiite.
However, the most populous Muslim country in the world is Indonesia:

Most Muslims are NOT Arabs or middle easterners. Indonesia consists of HUNDREDS of islands and "federal" enforcement of ANY law often becomes academic.
I second that motion.
If we weren't SO dependent on their petroleum and natural gas, we would NEVER have to.
"I summon my blue-eyed slaves anytime it pleases me. I command the Americans to send me their bravest soldiers to die for me. Anytime I clap my hands a stupid genie called the American ambassador appears to do my bidding. When the Americans die in my service their bodies are frozen in metal boxes by the US Embassy and American airplanes carry them away, as if they never existed. Truly, America is my favorite slave."
King Fahd Bin Abdul-Aziz, Jeddeh 1993

I guess their oil is the only POSSIBLE reason to shed American blood for these people. It begs a question: WHY THE HELL ARENâT WE USING OUR OWN?? ARE WE MAD? (Donât answer that.)
Worse than that, we don’t even use that much of their oil. Asia and Europe do.
I’m hoping that’s why we keep getting both sides loads of weapons and ammo.
Encourage em to kill each other.
WE are not dependent on their oil.
We do not get our oil from there, Europe and Japan and China does.

The Saudi consulate in Mashhad, Iran has been reportedly set on fire during protests over the execution of a leading Shiite cleric on terror charges.
So that's where Maelstrom went. Disney closed the boat ride in Norway to turn the area into a Frozen ride.
“We do not get our oil from there, Europe and Japan and China does.”
Is the U.S. getting marching orders from the (anonymous) rulers of Europe? I remember reading how the one-world global plan was to use U.S. troops as their world-wide armed forces. Was in a book or article I read back in the 1980’s, can’t remember the title. Will have to do a search for it.
I don't know who to root for. Maybe they will both fight to a stalemate that lasts for a hundred years with great loss of life.

Well fancy that. I didn't think ANYONE outside the KSA knew that. But, I don't reallyn BELIEVE the news about how much petroleum is or isn't being imported or exported. I never knew the media to be honest unless it was about a catastrophe.
I don't even care anymore.
Cedar,
A few decades ago, Saudi Arabia threw us out the,”kingdom”.
Our cooties and all.
After we built some real fine military bases.
