This is NOT AN ISSUE! Trump NEVER criticized Cruz’s religion....and he was RIGHT.
He clearly questioned Cruz’s religion. Don’t kid yourself any more than you already do by supporting this guy.

In “Gifted Hands,” Carson describes racing to the bathroom in his house after the near-stabbing incident - and in time beginning to pray for God’s help in dealing with his temper.
“During those hours alone in the bathroom, something happened to me,” he wrote. “God heard my deep cries of anguish. A feeling of lightness flowed over me, and I knew a change of heart had taken place. I felt different. I was different.”
In questioning Carson’s religious awakening, Trump said in Fort Dodge that Carson went into the bathroom and came out, “and now he’s religious.”
“And the people of Iowa believe him. Give me a break. Give me a break. It doesn’t happen that way,” Trumpsaid. “Don’t be fools.”

Note he attached...”Don’t be fools” at the end of his rant....typical manipulation tactic Trump uses to maintain his following.
His entire compaign is focused on manipulation of the masses and media,... Trumps obviously a ‘celebrity politician’ who exploits his fame and his insider knowledge of how the media works to maximum effect...... He’s said very little other than to transform the nominating process into a ‘daily’ reality Tv show which looks to be running for a year.... keeping people tuned into the next Trump episode show on full display.....just a different stage.
Trump has no idea how the Spirit of God works......when a candidate brings his childhood bible signed by his mother as evidence he’s a Christian...it’s anything but convincing and was used just as another prop on his stage show.
To me, Cruz is exactly right on -- those of us who are Christians and/or who recognize the new Crusades approaching, understand this. This is a Christian nation founded on Christian values. That is a fact. All Cruz is doing is speaking to Christians as well as all others. America was founded by bible-believing Christians, and in fact Western Civilization is Judeo-Christian (decent enough term) values based. We ignore that at our peril. I like that Cruz is up-front about his faith and its role in how he views Constitutional government.
