Me being a Southern Baptist, I think Cruz is being a religious huckster to say, "if Christians vote our values, we will win." He did not say "if Christian vote their values" or vote "their Christian values" which would have been bad enough, but he used the royal "our" which assumes him to be the ONLY candidate and the default candidate that would naturally benefit if Christians were true to their calling and voted.

Talk about twisting someone's words. You have to assume Cruz is using the royal "our" to make his statement into something negative. However, the simplest and most logical reading of his statement is that he is referring to our shared values as Christians. Perhaps you do not share those values or beliefs, and that is why you cannot understand that basic concept? Or are you just so dedicated to Trump that you will look for any way to tear down any possible challenger to his coronation?

“However, the simplest and most logical reading of his statement is that he is referring to our shared values as Christians.”

He certainly was referring to shared Christian values, but he connected “our” with him receiving that vote as the natural progression voting based on those Christian values; that was my point. He was saying, “If you vote Christian values, you will have to vote for me. My campaign and Christian values are the same.”

“Perhaps you do not share those values or beliefs, and that is why you cannot understand that basic concept?’

Just plain snot. Usual snark from Cruz supporter.
