Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tells his volunteers about the need to energize and mobilize Christians.
"If we awaken and energize the body of Christ - if Christians and people of faith come out and vote our values - we will win and we will turn the country around," Cruz told volunteers on a conference call Tuesday.
Cruz also said that he is organizing a coalition of pastors in early states including Iowa and South Carolina. "We're working to have a lead pastor in each of the 99 counties in Iowa, 99 pastors are organizing other pastors," Cruz said. "We're doing the same thing in South Carolina, organizing pastors in 46 counties to motivate and organize other pastors." Cruz warned that, as the election nears, the attacks on his campaign will become more vicious. "I want to tell everyone to get ready, strap on the full armor of God, get ready for the attacks that are coming," he warned. "Come the month of January we ainât seen nothing yet."

And your point is?

Nothing you have ever posted has been true.
Yer batting 1000!
I'm sure we could find more similarities...such as neither Reagan nor Trump are lawyers, neither used/use WEASEL words, and the both spoke DIRECTLY to WE THE PEOPLE, getting around the MSM.

A candidate has to be a lot evil to please springwater13.
Oh yes...both were/are VERY against people doing drugs/illicit stuff.
“This is the perfect example of why Cruz will remain a fractional candidate of the religious right.”
Amazing. On the one hand, there are those implying that Cruz is a “fraud” and not really a Christian — as the Huckster and Santorum supporters are alleging. I even saw a thread here yesterday questioning his Christian faith because they haven’t been able to find his personal testimony.
Now today, I hear he’s a “fractional” candidate with no crossover appeal because he’s too closely tied with religious voters (never mind the fact that he’s a heavy favorite with Tea Party (fiscal) conservatives and has substantial support with Libertarians as well).
Now I’m totally confused. Which is it? Am I supposed to abandon Cruz because he’s a one-dimensional candidate that “can’t possibly” win a general election (as if anyone can ever really validly make such a proclamation) or because he’s not a genuine Christian?

Another pagan weighs in.
Bet you Cruz runs for a second term as POTUS.
Attacking Trump for being divorced, when something like 20 % of the adult population is divorced, seems to be a very bad play for the Democrats.
.
Cruz will be president before his senate term runs out.
Duh!
But you think Reagan was “creepy”? After all, he was actually responsible for “killing babies” by his deed, not just supporting it with words.
Personally I accept that people can change their minds on the subject. I did. So did Reagan and Trump.
Do you ONLY read the bits, in books about the FFs, that are about RELIGION?
“This is the perfect example of why Cruz will remain a fractional candidate of the religious right.”
Great words by Cruz to win Iowa, and it will likely work. It will be tougher for him to win the nomination though, and I agree with you - how on Earth does he get Godless Millenials to support him?
Never said that extreme but in the context of American politics, Cruz is becoming our version of Christian Taliban with his religious statements. In America, as you are well aware, our religious Taliban are simply holier than thou fanatics, often marked with intolerance. Yes, you are correct, no one steps over the line into overt violence, even if some seem or do suggest it.
You must be celebrating a little early. You make even less sense than usual.
Yep
