A lib talking head, I think a guest on Fox News, posited that the Trump phenomenon was driven by low-info voters. Are those the Obamabots Rush often refers to? Little did she know that plenty of educated voters are in Trump’s camp.

His advantage is his flexibility. He'll say anything to get votes. He does what's good situationally at a given moment. He can support the Clintons. Fund the Clintons. Praise Hillary. And be an apologist for Bill Clinton without ever having to worry about being consistent or having a conservative record because he isn't a conservative.

Trump is a crony capitalist who got rich off of support from Democrats. He funded them, praised them, and brought them to his third wedding. He's no conservative. He's a no-risk capitalists with political connections.

I tend to agree on the media phenomenon idea. If President Obama hadn’t gone out and appeared twenty-odd times on Leno, Letterman or the Comedy Central Shows...we wouldn’t have considered an entertainer value for President, which now....we’ve reached that level of acceptance.
I would add....if Trump were to win and start using executive talents instead of political talents...it’d reshape and further change the public’s view of future Presidents. We might reach a point where we actually want businessmen with proven executive skills to run the country...instead of bogus politicians who make a couple of speeches and dress well.
