POCATELLO â White House communications director Jen Psaki said Dec. 18 that President Barack Obamaâs planned executive action on gun control would come in âweeks, not months.â
Roll Call reported Wednesday that âsenior congressional aides and sources in the gun-control communityâ indicate that the president will issue his executive actions after the Christmas vacation.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest admitted that Obamaâs team of lawyers have been âscrubbing through the lawâ to find avenues for gun control expansion, according to the Roll Call report.
Obama met with gun control proponent Michael Bloomberg earlier this month to discuss possible ways to circumvent Congress and expand gun control.

total nonsense...His legacy will be that he was, beyond any shadow of a doubt, the worst and most dangerous person ever to be elected president.
I will, and I will be (sadly) proven right.
If you’re so convinced, commit yourself to action. We need a leader, BE IT.
I am not the one boasting about doing something if Obama goes too far (of course, Freepers keep moving the line in the sand). I am just editorializing on those who do, and it annoys me to no end. Just STFU.
Noting that Congress has the constitutional authority to stop lawless Obama from stealing legislative branch powers to make unconstitutional executive orders, please consider the following. Pro-gun control RINO lawmakers are wrongly letting Obama do their dirty legislative work for them so that they can keep their voting records clean. And keeping their voting records clean will help gun-control lawmakers to be reelected next year.
Note that Congress also lets activist justices and non-elected federal bureaucrats steal legislative branch powers so that justices and bureucrats can likewise do Congresss dirty work for it so that lawmakers can keep their voting records clean for reelection purposes.
So when patriots elect Trump, or whatever conservative they elect as president, they also need to do this. They need to elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support the new president, while prohibiting the corrupt executive and judicial branches, along with Constitution-ignoring federal bureaucrats, from stealing legislative branch powers.
Also consider that such a Congress would probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
So, you come on the thread be a combination of an agent provocateur, and someone who mocks those who are frustrated at this utterly lawless administration.
Yeah, I can see how this all helps our cause.
Just STFU.
Request denied.
No.
Recall The Zero has been selectively getting rid of officers from the Armed Forces. Ask yourself the question, why were these particular people identified and booted by The Zero?
The point is they cancel out each other I suppose....
I always do!
Now, now; don’t be a smart ass.
Wannabe Emperor 0bamanus Caligula Nero...
Hillary doesn”t really have a home state that supports her blindly.
“historic” yeah, remember 1984 when ‘Lizard-eye’s Mondale won .... Minnesota?
Hitlery might just get skunked.
ALA IDI AMIN?
I plan on ignoring 0bama even before he signs it.
If Obama strapped on a suicide vest and blew up the WH it would not surprise me.
Well geez. How will B.O. take all our stuff and make us live in communes if we have guns?
Circumvent congress??? They don't have the authority to regulate weapons either. The federal government is given certain powers in certain areas in its constitution. To make the limitations of this power more clear and assuage fears that it would take powers not granted over, there was a list called the Bill of Rights of things specifically excluded from the Federal governments power. The second thing on the list is that the people's right to keep and bear arms is off limits. End of story. Opinions to the contrary are manifestations of cowardice, fraud, or incompetence.
