This Christmas brings joy rather than terror to Christian pastor Farshid Fathi, who was released from an Iranian prison after spending nearly five years in jail for his Christian faith. Fathi originally was arrested on Dec. 26, 2010, with 60-plus other Christians from house churches in Tehran by agents of Iran's Intelligence Ministry. World Watch Monitor announced Tuesday that the Iranian pastor was freed on Monday, despite the fact his sentence recently was extended...

people like to throw the US in with the rest of the crowd that allows execution..
I’d like to see the reasons next to the person’s name.
if being Christian gets you five years...lord knows how easy it must be to get death.

Absolutely, I’m OK with immigrating Christians. We can learn a lot from men like these.
Praise God he’s been released. We don’t always see God’s methods making sense to us, but may he turn his time in prison into something good.

There's lots HE does and allows that don't make sense to me but that's what trust is all about. He does no best and works EVERYTHING for good.
