Under fire from Democrats and the media for saying Hillary Clinton "got schlonged" in 2008 by Barack Obama, Republican hopeful Donald Trump doubled down.
Claiming a candidate getting "schlonged" is "a commonly used word in politics," Trump refused to back down.
Once again, #MSM is dishonest. "Schlonged" is not vulgar. When I said Hillary got "schlonged" that meant beaten badly.

I agree it was in the vernacular. My point is it got there mistakenly—what William Safire used to called a back-formation. He would have had the definitive word on this subject.
FWIW I have not heard schlong used in a few decades. As far as D Trump goes he has picked up many Yiddishisms along his way or would have been a reject in NYC real estate circles back in the day.

Interesting question about Franco but I don’t have any specific information about ihis ancestry. Do you?
I just read Footnote 1 on Franco’s Wikipedia page, which pretty much debunks the legend of his Jewish ancestry. Not that Wikipedia is the final word on anything.
It could also be Brooklynese or some other form of local slang...I'll wager even Trump himself doesn't know its exact origins.
