Whether you agree with Telnaes’s original reasoning or Hiatt’s overriding rationale, one thing should be obvious to any political observer: This is a win for a candidate who is rising in the polls thanks to support from more conservative Republicans and who has been highly critical of the press -- most memorably during the third Republican presidential debate, when he blasted the moderators’ questions as being illustrative of “why the American people don’t trust the media.”

Obviously the Washington Post Editors and ownership considered it acceptable. They ran it.

So, the Washington Post thinks that Hispanics are monkeys?

And pulled it. And are reaping a whirlwind of negative publicity and criticism for it. From all sides.

The Washington Post was against this form of child abuse committed by Ann Telnaes after they were for it.
Is there a photo gallery of Mz Telnaes?

According to the liberals, Ted Cruz is white. He’s not really Hispanic because he’s conservative.

Maybe the Washington Post could give the same Christmas gift to Obama and portray his children as monkeys.

Of course if the Washington Post did that the press would be screaming from the rooftops about ‘right wing hate’... but when the left does it - they get a pass.

That said, if the Washington Post did this to Obama and his family I would stand with Obama and his family. It’s too much - too horrible - to target the innocent children of our leaders. Even the hateful Washington Post should put some things ‘off limits’ based on a minimum standard of decency. I know they see us as not quite human - and mock us when they can - but the Post went too far.

Shame on the Washington Post.
