I was commenting on your comment:

“Terrorists dont seem to use their tactics to show love or hate for any political personality”

The point was Terrorist do us political persons and show hate for them. As a matter of fact they make it a daily activity called against many of the same things the progressive left are trying to promote to Break down society.

So in short I was pointing out what you said was not correct.

God Bless

Yes, the "homeless problem" is getting much worse. To the point where you are even seeing them inside the station. Mostly though they sit outside on the sidewalk, with their handwritten signs that they pass around. It's almost like they take shifts. I walk out of the station in the morning and see one guy holding a sign about how he is a homeless vet and needs money for a train ride to Huntington (which is a town in Long Island). Then on the way home, I see a totally different "bum" holding the exact same sign! What's even more pathetic is that if the bum really wanted to go to Huntington, he'd be bumming at Penn Central, which is where the Long Island trains run out of. They can't even beg accurately!

In the days of Guiliani, those bums were constantly picked up and taken to a homeless shelter. That discouraged most of the panhandlers (a homeless shelter is the last place they typically want to go).

It's a shame because Grand Central is such a majestic place. Even if my train comes in on an outer track, I go out of my way to walk through the lobby before I start my workday. I feel like the master of the universe walking through that place. Sometimes you have a classical quartet playing in the Lexington Street passage and I always make it a point to drop a few coins in their plate, while ignoring the panhandlers who only want the coins for their next 40-ounce can of booze.

LOL.....I know exactly where Huntington is; my fathers warehouse was there, so he was sort of a backwards commuter.

Yep....very wrong train station, indeed !

I have always loved Grand Central; it's beautiful ( especially since its renovation/cleanup ), but it sickens me that Penn Station ( this was way before your time ) wasn't saved. That too was majestic and should have been made an historic building !

Those damned bums are really just crooks and should be swept away, as Rudy did !

From the time I was a bitty child, until I was a young adult, there was a supposed beggar at the front of Bloomies. When he died, the paper wrote him up and it came to light that he wasn't REALLY bum, owned several condos or co-ops, had a large bank account, and this was all an act!

I listened to the video. Trump said "schlonged". What is a schlong in Yiddish? Enlighten me.
Literally, "snake". Unlike "schmuck", which means jewel, or "putz", it needs no explanation.
"Schlonged" isn't Yiddish. The proper word would be "shtup". Which explains why my grandfather and mother started laughing hysterically, when they picked me up from school once and I said I was busy playing stoop ball with my friends.

The MSM...including/especially FNC keep doing huge anti-Trump articles. They all HATE him, so you aren’t going to get the truth from any of them!

It’s the “good cop” “bad cop” routine.....the mayor gets to play the liberal card, while Bratton plays “whatever it takes to keep the heat off” the mayor card.

I'll be out that way tomorrow as I also have an office in Melville, which is right down the road from Huntington on 110.

I'm too young to have seen Penn Station in its glory but I'm well aware of the atrocity committed there and seen the old photos - should have been made a landmark.

Like I said earlier, Grand Central is a real treasure. When I work out of my Lexington Ave office, I always take a midday walk around the city. But when it's raining, I go to Grand Central and walk around there. I've discovered pretty much all the passages that lead to 48th St, Madison Ave, the subways, etc., so that I can take a 3-4 mile walk without having to step outdoors and without having to recross my steps very much.

LOL...our summer house was in Glen Cove, when I was a teen and young adult, so I know the territory.

The great thing about NYC, is that there are quite a few underground passages, that one can use when it rains/snows, and not get wet.

As bad as NYC was about preservation, Chicago was much worse! So many wonderful architecture/buildings have been lost in both cities; sadly. :-(

Still and all, at least NYC has managed to keep quite a lot of its treasured old buildings.

I don’t like bug cities or crowds. I’d rather be in a forest any day.

Tips can also be submitted via the app "See Say," which lets users send a photo or message of any suspicious activity they see to the New York State Intelligence Center. Officials will then review the tip and if it's a major threat, will call in additional law enforcement.

Just don't say "muslim" in your tip recording, or Loretta will toss you in jail.

Juxtapose that with the picture of Comrade Wilhelm at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Can’t find a picture? Wonder why. Doesn’t fit his liberal agenda. Disgraceful.

I rather prefer, “see something;shoot something.”

Followed by SSU. Then again, that’s why I don’t live in NY...
