FOR RELEASE: DECEMBER 22, 2015 HALF OF U.S. VOTERS EMBARRASSED WITH TRUMP AS PRESIDENT, QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY NATIONAL POLL FINDS; TRUMP AT TOP OF GOP PACK, BUT CRUZ CLOSES IN Six weeks before the Iowa Caucuses open the 2016 presidential race in ea rnest, Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz lead the Republican field nationally, but Trump trails either Democratic candidate, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, and 50 percent of American voters say they would be embar rassed to have Trump as president, accordin g to a Quinnipiac University National poll released today. Trump has 28 percent of the GOP pack, with Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas at 24 percent. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida has 12 percent and Dr. Ben Carson has 10 per cent, the independent Q uinnipiac (KWIN - uh - pe - ack) University Poll finds. No other candidate tops 6 percent with 8 percent undecided. But 58 percent of those who name a candidate might change their mind. Among Democrats, Clinton tops Sanders 61 â 30 perce nt. Former Maryland Gov. Ma
Junk poll, registered not likely voters.
Only the voters on the take could be embarrassed by Trump or Cruz (oh, I forgot tenured univ. profs. and media talking heads). Did they poll how many voters are currently embarrassed at “the One”?
In before the inevitable Trumpanzee’s throwing turdfest!
Disgusting poll. Why don’t they ask if Obie is the worst ever or what % is embarrassed by him being POTUS?
Ask me how I feel about Dumbo, the affirmative action president.
And how many Americans are embarrassed that here in this country we like sticking scissors in the heads of unborn little boys and girls and then selling their bodies to “science” for big bucks? The things we are embarrassed about tell others who we really are.
Significant: 2/3 of Cruz’s supporters “could change their mind.” 2/3 of Trump supporters would not change their commitment to vote for Trump. So, are the 2/3 largely Carson people? We’ll see.
“Trumpanzee”
Take a drink!
Self-righteous Cruz supporter flings a juvenile name.
I can’t count the number of times I have seen a similar headline like this:
NATIONAL POLL FINDS OVER HALF OF U.S. VOTERS EMBARRASSED WITH BARACK OBAMA AS PRESIDENT
That’s because there haven’t been any.
Been saying for months that Trump’s support is not malleable.
If he isn’t there, then those people walk.
It’s a simple question if the right wants to put a gun to their heads like in 2008 and 12 and pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity.
From what I’ve seen, perhaps you all should lay off the bottle.
On the other hand, many Trump supporters say they will not consider voting for anyone else.
This is insane, ludicrous, with one of the staunchest conservatives in modern times running, but perhaps that is the thinking this poll reflects.
Cruz is now 1.7% from Clinton. Trump is still 6.3% behind Clinton, according to RCP averages.
And (we) the citizens of the United States are REALLY now discovering how overwhelming their (our) numbers have ALWAYS been and how weak and puny the elite and self segregated are.
I think it might be time for US to start saying ....
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY ADULT LIFE I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN
‘In before the inevitable Trumpanzeeâs throwing turdfest!’
Classiness at it’s Cruz-supporter best.
Remind me again, which candidate is supposed to be so evangelical?
But not his supporters, right?
The survey includes:
508 Republicans with a margin of error of +/- 4.4 percentage points
462 Democrats with a margin of error of +/- 4.6 percentage points
Connect the dots...
Meanwhile yesterday, Donald blows away the attendance record at a facility in Michigan with wildly passionate supporters from all walks of life.
But the Quinnischmucks would have people believe he’s an ‘embarrassment’.
And you now say we are all a bunch of drunks?
For people supposedly so much more mature and moral than us trash, you guys seem to really do a poor job showing it.
Many Cruz supporters say they don’t need the votes of Trump supporters. See post #4.
