This are the same kind of attacks that occur in Israel on a daily basis, sometimes they kill one person, sometimes two. Just depends on the car used, this was a 1996 Oldsmobile

Thats because people hit by a car like this aren’t really run over - they go up on the hood, windshield and roof, and roll off.

At 45mph you have a 10% chance of surviving. Survival goes up almost exponentially as mph decreases.

I think they mean hit. I Googled 96 Olds and most of them have fairly smooth, low front ends that might tend to deflect the impact somewhat. It would be much worse with something higb and flat like a pickup truck.
