To resort to violence is to take on the enemy on their own turf. They have overwhelming force and will smash resistance before it occurs, which is happening now. The days of flintlock v. flintlock are long gone

But okay, I'll go along. Tell me what happens after the victorious Freeper Army sweeps aside the forces of evil.

Moral equivalence much?? /s To paraphrase: Die where one stands vs. slave on the knee

Overwhelming? Guerrilla warfare worked well at our Founding, I don’t see why the same would not be a benefit this time around. Not sure that better hardware will STAY in the hands of the opposition (let alone, I’d suspect, some air-drops from some previously-not-so-friendlies).

I’d compare it to much of our M.E. conflict of today: small groups, easily mixed into the local pop, pop of growing approval and they’ve been keeping things ‘lively’ for the last 1/2 century.

Now, as for after the ‘win’: I’d hope their ducks would be in a row LONG before the 1st bullet; and stick to their guns (excuse the pun).

No matter HOW it may happen, IMO, it’s long past due for a reboot. “We hold these truths to be self evident....” needs more TEETH this go ‘round; they (lawyers/judges/politicians didn’t seem to get the plain English the LAST time)
