A ninth grade World Geography teacher who assigned students near Staunton, Virginia to hand copy the Arabic characters representing the shahada–the Islamic statement of faith–also circulated a Koran to her students while refusing to do the same with the Bible, according to reports from a parent meeting.

Conservative talk show host Rob Schilling filed this report last Tuesday:

Parents of students at Greenville, Virginia’s Riverheads High School were shocked by a recent assignment given in World Geography class.

Amazing how leftists refer to the “prophet Muhammed” but never “the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”...

Where’s that in the AP style guide or on the lips of western politicians?

The terrorist who recently went on Jihad and was later
killed is shown holding a Koran out to his side.

Allah demands you die for him, as does his false prophet,
Mohammed (who certainly killed plenty).

Yahweh does not demand ANYTHING of you. Nor does Jesus Christ (Yeshua) who died FOR you.

I’ve seen korans. They have them at bookstores. I would wager some students have never seen a Hustler magazine. Maybe the teacher should pass one around in the class.

“is the Koran part of the study lesson? I could understand if part of the geography lesson they were studying the cultures and religions of the middle east.”

I have had courses in geography in school and college, and never had to segue into the nuts and bolts of various religions, and especially calligraphy. Calligrahpy in geography??!!!

Why do you want a picture of the teacher?

To determine whether or not she is a Muslim.

Of course nowadays, she's just as likely to be a white liberal kook.

Still, you make a small point, unlike your other cry-for-attention look-at-me-I'm-an-atheist-rebel posts.

Militant atheists are the stupidest people on the planet. They only exist because the social foundation created by Christianity allows them to exist.

Other religions would not put up with them. Islam would simply kill them.

The future of Atheism is either the grave, or kneeling on a prayer rug while facing Mecca.

“Militant atheists are the stupidest people on the planet.”

Yes. In many ways. One is what you mentioned.

Another commonality is an above average mediocrity in intelligence and knowledge which they think is genius.

Why do we post pictures on threads at all if you can’t understand why?
