No everyone in the world knows the crown was awarded to Miss Philippines. Everyone.

Co-awarding it this year won’t change that. Everyone understands she actually won.

Everyone.

However also awarding the lady who was actually awarded the crown (even if incorrectly) just this year is the perfect solution.

It doesn’t take anything away from Miss Philippines, and it saves a whole huge amount of face for the runner-up, and quite a lot of South Americans would no doubt agree.

This is a great idea.

Miss Philippines won. We all get that. But co-awarding the crown would be a good solution, for the lady who was wronged in this.

Just this year. I believe it would be a good solution.

Maybe you should ask Miss Philippines if she thinks it takes the award away from her instead of acting as her spokesperson. I think she’d have a totally different take on it than you.

No.

You (and trump) suffer liberal confusion common to Big Labor union liberals pretending to be conservative populists.

Both things cannot be simultaneously true.

Either they are made co-winners and Miss Phillipines is diminished, or the pageant is awarding a fake crown to Miss Columbia, thus further humiliating her with amounts to a pity prize.
