How is drawing someone to their side capitulating? I feel like I’m in 1984 with the double speak. Reagan drew people to his side, he had lots of cross-over voters and got congress to go along with his ideas. If that’s your definition of capitulating, then it becomes a good thing. (it’s not my definition)

I made no comment that could be misconstrued as denying that Reagan was a leader who drew people to his side. And I would suggest that, if Cruz becomes President, Congress will "go along with his ideas". Because Mitch McConnell will quickly be superseded as majority leader by somebody like Jeff Sessions.
