See: Trump: Republicans âthrew in the towelâ on spending bill
December 18, 2015
"Trump on Friday blasted the spending bill, saying it would result in "higher deficits, greater debt, less economic liberty and more corporate welfare."
"Congress cannot seem to help itself in bending to every whim of special interests," Trump said. "How can they face their constituents when they continue to burden our children and grandchildren with debts they will never be able to repay? Our government is failing us, so we must do something about it. Who knows how bad things will be when the next administration comes in and has to pick up the pieces?"
"How can they face their constituents when they continue to burden our children and grandchildren with debts they will never be able to repay?" Most of them avoid facing their constituents by not holding periodic town hall meetings and encouraging their constituents to attend with an open mike so constituents can express their views and question their representative's actions face to face.
The unfortunate truth is, most members of Congress, regardless of their political party affiliation, come face to face and in secret with their big buck donor class to be instructed how to vote. As for the ordinary voter who suffers the devastating consequences of their representatives' actions [the national debt, loss of economic liberty, the devastating consequences of uncontrolled immigration, etc.] they are constantly lied to through a complicit mainstream media, and told how awful the opposing political party members are while enjoying the fruits for selling their vote to the highest bidders.
The bottom line is, Paul Ryan's spending bill exhibits how devious and nefarious both political party leaderships have become and have joined hands to serve their own interests, while ignoring the general welfare of the United States and the best interest of their constituents who will suffer the consequences of a corrupted federal government which puts the Mafia Mobs of the twenties to shame.
JWK
Let us not forget this coming election the betrayal by House Republicans and Senate Republicans who voted in favor of Paul Ryan's Bill to finance Obama's invasion of our borders!
FIRE THEM ALL!
Lindsey Graham avoids Town Hall meetings in SC and instead has phone telephone Town Hall meetings with phony callers who serve soft ball questions in a sycophantic. manner.
Ryan is ever growing a beard so he blends in well with his bros in ISIS
Vote against ALL incumbents, no matter the party, no matter how good they are, once were or if they are your parent. It is the only way to return this country to sanity. Trump, Cruz or George Washington himself cannot do it alone. They must have an all new group along with real strict interpreters of law in the courts. Throw out all case law, and rule on every case as if it has never been argued before....WHAT A CONCEPT...every case decided on its merits....IT’S REVOLUTIONARY.
Linda, I mean Lindsey, may I call you Lindsey? I just wanted to know what foundation you use on your face, because you look so fabulous on TV.
The nation is going to go down in flames.
“Ryan is ever growing a beard so he blends in well with his bros in ISIS.”
It’s called a 10-4 signal. Just like Obama signals with ISIL, over and out.
Just keeping it real.
The reference to the Mafia at the end of this piece put its all in focus. The mob could only dream about what McConnell and Ryan did. How much made its way to their Swiss bank accounts. Nobody screws a country like they did without a payoff.
.
Exactly
LOL, please.
Trump is talking about spending massive amounts of money on infrastructure - bridges, roads, etc. He proposes what is, in effect, a new stimulus package (something conservatives derided when Obama did it). Trump also proposes building up the military which is good, but at the same time doesn’t want to touch entitlements at all which is the heart of the debt problem.
Trump is no deficit hawk, he just knows the conservative base hates this budget so he is piling on for political purposes.
I think I will stick with Cruz who has done more to fight these obscene spending bills than anyone else in the race. Cruz has shown he isn’t afraid to shut the government down in order to preserve Congress’s leverage over the purse strings whereas Trump has a laundry list of things he wants to spend more on.
It was not known that the creature ever had a *human side*. Truthfully, whose ‘side’ was it?
Dern Right I agree! He just gave another great speech. People know where he is coming from. Go Trump !!!!!!!!
His speeches get better and better. He is zero in on something only his intuition is guiding him on which no other candidate can match. He is mind blowing!
Spending in the right proportions backed up and strengthened with people having jobs and paying taxes takes people off the dole. Get the monkey off the back of small business in this country and create a favorable climate for Americans to make up the work force instead of cheap illegals and the money will be there to create more jobs by rebuilding our infrastructure.
Cruz knows about as much of how to run a country economically as a beginner. Has he ever had to make a payroll? Has he ever put his own money on the line backed by his own judgement? Has he ever had to get something done ON TIME and within the budget? That’s just for starters. We can’t afford the time to teach him. Trump already has the knowledge, the skill set, and he knows the people who can help straighten out the mess on a first name basis. Trump has the knowhow and that’s all that matters.
He’s a natural speaker. My dad was too. It’s a gift.
aka another stimulus package. Did you support the make-work stimulus program when Obama proposed and got it passed? I somehow doubt it.
And Trump has been clear he doesn't want to touch entitlements. That position is most definitely not from someone who wishes to actually do something about the debt and deficit.
If the illegals aren’t here, they are not entitled to entitlements. What happens to those billions? When the illegals take jobs American’s need and send the money back to Mexico or wherever, what does it do for our economy? A little common sense and basic understanding of economics should show people the WALL is the key to getting America back.
