What started as a seemingly mild admiration between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin took an uncomfortable turn Friday when the GOP White House hopeful seemed to defend the Russian presidentâs strong-arm tactics â and dismiss his alleged killing of journalists and others who cross him.

“Trump stands zero chance of getting elected”
Yes running ahead in every poll for 6 months is the sure way to lose. ROTFLAMO!
I’m on tippy toes waiting for your next gem of wisdom Grasshopper.
My thoughts exactly.
****************************************************************
Republican US presidential front-runner Donald Trump is apparently "honored" that Russian President Vladimir Putin considers the real-estate magnate a "flamboyant" and "very talented" man.
"It is always a great honor to be so nicely complimented by a man so highly respected within his own country and beyond," Trump said in a statement, according to Politico.
He continued: "I have always felt that Russia and the United States should be able to work well with each other towards defeating terrorism and restoring world peace, not to mention trade and all of the other benefits derived from mutual respect."

He’s polite.
“And my point, precisely, is why should I give Putin a pass when I’m asked to give Obama strict scrutiny?”
Well for one example Anna Politkovskaya. Lived and breathed the islamist Chechyn and ingushita cause. You know, the fun loving Boston bomber and Beslan school group.
Also blew airliners out of the sky, blew up apartment buildings, bombed concerts, and attacked the Moscow theater.
She was solidly on their side. She stepped on many toes. Guys were convicted in a public jury trial.
But we hear that it was simply Putin killed her. Not a shred of proof ive ever heard of besides I doubt he liked her.
My Maserati does 185, I lost my License, now I don’t drive.
Why did the article leave this out?
Scarborough: âSo I mean, you obviously condemn Vladimir Putin killing journalists and political opponents, right?â
Trump: âOh sure, absolutely.â
OK, seems to be Trumps modus operande. Makes absurd statements or supports highly questionable policies, then recovers by amending said statements. Glad he did it.
Krauthammer was joking that he’s going to Canada for the rest of the campaign.
Oh give it a rest. The President of the United States has to have a relationship with the head of state of Russia. Its always been so. Russia is not scary. Unless you are a wuzz.
Joe Walsh. Great song.
“The other thing is that in a three day period, both the Foreign Minister of Mexico and the President of Russia are talking about dealing with Trump . . . not Obama, not Cruz, not Hillary. So they are already seeing something our own GOPe media wants to ignore.”
Excellent point.
:)
What's still more Scarborough himself has never explained the dead intern found in his congressional office shortly before he ditched his wife and resigned his newly won congressional seat.
Could be that's what Trump was getting at with his "we kill people too" line.
I’m like you. I’ve had a few differences with Trump, but overall, haven’t thought he was too bad, although I’m more of a Cruz supporter.
But this interview is troubling.
And just as troubling is that his supporters won’t even care.
Yes, he comes across almost as a shy little boy (Putin). Meanwhile, he's a very clever snake who was part of the diabolical KGB and FSB. And it's not just about him being suspect in the murder of journalists and others who've opposed him, it's many other things, including his (and Russia in general's) long history of arming and supporting America's enemies. They are in Syria largely as part of a complex scheme to grab control of the Middle East. This in addition to their ongoing attempts to retake their former Soviet states in Eastern Europe. Plus their closer than ever ties with the ChiComs, who of which they've been conducting joint war games with since 2005, in preparation for war with US and our NATO allies.
I figured gwalsh07 would get a chuckle.
I decided not to get in the middle of the usual Cruz - Trump WWF Match on the Thread.
Everybody’s so different, I haven’t changed.
Especially around Primary Election Season. LOL
Nah, I’m a Cruz guy also and I thought that Trump handled it just fine. He simply was refusing to fit into the box that Scarborough (and that scowling woman with Scarborough) were trying to place him.
As to Putin’s statement...it was nothing more than a man with strong leadership skills recognizing another man with strong leadership skills.
Yep, although I was thinking specifically about Viet Nam; we lost the war because of permitting the enemy free reign at the strategic level, while winning the tactical war. Stupid.
Sorry. I meant that Trump was polite. Putin is a sociopath.
My apologies, FRiend.
It makes perfect sense to me.
Trump is a New York Democrat.
Democrats kill people.
See?
