I’ve been involved in searching for RF design engineers. Try finding one in East Texas. Kids with zero experience wanting ridiculous salaries.

IT gets a lot of press on H1-B abuse, but it’s the same trouble finding qualified candidates. Retaining them means spending big dollars.
Find a 45-year old white male with a Master's or PhD in EE who has been outsourced... Train him and withhold the cost of training from his pay. He'll be loyal to you for life.
Econ 101 teaches the basic concept that raising pay attracts more workers. Funny how the free market just “doesn’t” work for you.
