Somehow I managed to watch this without getting seriously ill. Hopefully it’s not a delayed reaction.

How I hate these non-debates with the Left running the Right’s show.

Trump doesn’t seem to mind, but I think many people hate this. Trump’s not into debating, but it would be a lot more useful if the format were different and run by the right people.

Overall strong debate, so so moderators. Confession leaning Cruz before debate. My ratings tonight

pretty much tie between Cruz, Rubio, Christie for best (yes I said Christie who didn’t even have on my radar)

I really thought Rand Paul was the worst. the others spread out in the middle. Kasich actually pretty good tonight. Trump won by not losing and I give him credit for taking a shot at the way they led all the questions at him.

Jebra...

Seven point plan for debate success

1. Interrupt and be rude to Trump

2. Get called on it and look like a flake for having done it

3. Make the debate moderator tell you to please wait your turn

4. Shoot off an insult that Trump won’t win the election with insults, when he was just trying to get his answer out

5. Try to forget you were the impotent child in the exchange

6. Ignore those who saw you for what you did, and think you’re an even bigger fool now than they did yesterday

I am not impressed very much with this entire “secure America and fight ISIS and Radical Islam with a telephone tap” stuff. The problem regarding our security starts at the border, policy on immigration that is really all about how many votes you can get, and I heard too much tonight from those who spent a lot of time trying to weaken our borders and shove amnesty down our throats and now they say they are going to destroy ISIS after spending years destroying our borders.

America has borders, and I was not impressed with Rubio, and I will throw Jeb Bush in with him who is even worse, who talk about America as their purple heart when you cannot even have an America if you don’t have a border and monitoring cellphones only means the enemy will use other means, and when they come right over the border or fly in via LAX they will just use the cellphone to remotely set off a bomb or trigger a chemical attack istead of calling up their uncle in Yemen. Rubio makes me feel less safe, and Rand Paul clarified what a foolish campaign he is running. Of course, it is clear Jeb Bush is worse and we would absolutely have worse than another 911 under Mr. Sombrero as El Presidente. There wasn’t one thing I heard from Bush tonight that convinces me otherwise, frankly I bet he will drop 2 points after tonight.

I liked a lot of what Trump and Cruz said, the rest are pretty much trying to sell themselves as an anti-depressant pill for our security concerns and I will include Christie in that. Though I did appreciate Carson’s opening and moment of silence, and Paul was very strong on more focusing on the border, immigration policy and the entire issue of welcome wagons for “refugees”, but my gut is the “refugees” will keep coming forever until we carpet bomb Raqqa for starts. Drop some leaflets and then bomb, and especially target the mosques, not avoid bombing them.

I am 100% convinced after tonight that Trump will live up to his campaign promises made tonight, and Cruz has already proven he always lives up to his campaign positions that elected him to office and he keeps his promises to his constituency - neither will waffle on their positions they took a stance on, tonight.

Jeb Bush would waffle on every single promise or position made tonight and then give us amnesty. Rubio isn’t Bush, but sort of like his cousin.

Jeb should have just gotten off the stage, he has an attitude that is sorely lacking greatness and he can’t “feel insulted” his way into the White House.

The entire Christie and Kasich line was, “I am the adult in the room, they don’t have a handle on adultness like me”. And then Kasich and his “all this fighting and arguing isn’t going to solve problems” while precisely because we haven’t been fighting this PC crap or ignored (which is why we are yelling now) is why we have these prublems and it is time to fight and it is time to get in their face and the one’s who do this are the warriors in the room and that is what I want now, warriors and not “adults in the green club”, what I want now is warriors holding baseball bats and not “adults holding golf clubs”, and those telling us all to shutup are the problem.

I mean, Jeb repeated “you can’t insult yourself into the Whitehouse” like a dozen times, it was clear he was like a deer in the headlights and can only remember to throw out this lame line over and over again as his sugar level drops.

Hey Jeb, you’re not going to dinero and amigo your way into the Whitehouse, either, you were more than annoying and the insult was wearing that suit you had on instead of boxer shorts and a bottle of tanning lotion in your hand, you are an insult to that suit and you are a mommy boy in my estimation, and why are you even in this race anymore?

Carly needs to run a Catholic school, not America.

Regarding Kim Jong Un and the hydrogen bomb, I think we should assassinate him right now and could easily do so and his own military brass would thank us for it, China actually wouldn’t really complain and would look forward to opening up a new coal fired energy plant there after donut boy is dead. But among the candidates on stage, all of that could be avoided in that Trump could absolutely convince donut boy that the Trump hairdo is the thing for Kim and Kim would be won over and change his shoe-polish for orange dye. Then Trump Kim would go to a Lakers game together, I mean Trump is that good in my opinion seeing him in stage tonight. Then at half-time, Cruz could come out from behind and grab Kim by both his ears and shake the life out of him until he cries tears and says “I will be goooood! You are hurting me! I will be gooood!”...

My take is Trump and Cruz tied and won the debate. I noticed at half-time they shook hands. I would LOVE to see Trump Prez and Cruz V.P. or the other way around. However I think Trump’s ego might be a bit to big to run as V.P. with Cruz, but you know, don’t say he absolutely would never say yes because he wants to be part of this in a big way. But it will likely have to be Trump-Cruz, Trump with the whip and Cruz the Philosopher and Shakespeare of Hangtown.

Great closing statement by Rand Paul on the national debt. That subject wasn’t even really brought up, and I thank him for that. Christie tried to tell us he was Mayor Giuliani of New York. Thanks Chris, I didn’t know that. Jeb had a heart attack or something and forgot his closing statement and started mumbling and messing up his words. I already forgot what Carly said. Carson told us about his mother. Cruz sounded like he was running for President. Trump told us we will win again.

Did Kasich give a closing statement?

By the way, some folks may not know, but ISIS has enough “wealth” and “currency” now to start hiring mercenaries for their military operations, and they are doing that now. This isn’t just about suicide belts.

I will now turn on FOX where I suppose I will be told Rubio won. What a joke.

Well, with almost 300,000 votes cast, this poll regarding who won last night is probably pretty accurate. I voted for Cruz, and I would have placed Rubio ahead of Paul...but all in all, I believe it is probably fairly accurate:

Here's the link to the Drudge Poll: http://drudgereport.com/nowlv.htm

The top four candidates are registering 90% of the vote. I believe in more scientific polls, the top four are registering something similar. IMHO, they should take an average of the intervening polls and then allow only the top four or five on stage for the next major debate.
