On Tuesday, the Superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District announced that all schools would be shut down today due to an unspecified terror threat. According to ABC News, that threat also carries âunknown credibility.â Bus drivers say they have been returned to their bus depots. LAUSD is the nationâs second-largest school district, with 640,000 students and 900 schools; children range from kindergarten to 12th grade.

I didn’t hear the mayor say it, just Beck.
Similar or specific?
Can’t be both.
Not in my world.
My solution for this: Get all illegals out of the schools. This will save enough money to pay for 4 armed people at each campus: two armed guards and two faculty or staff who are secretly armed and paid two salaries for double duty (secretary/teacher and security). Lots of comm devices as well as cameras on each campus.
Then when these threats come through, pile on more cops if needed and tell the terrorists, BRING IT.
I like when leaders jump up and say, “we’re not going to give in to terror” while at the same time they’re totally giving in to terror. It must be a little frustrating for ISIS, knowing that we’re completely ripe for defeat, but they’re not logistically able to pull it off just now. Everything they do to us, our response is just the opposite of what it should be, they just don’t have the brain power to do everything they want.
Footnote on the “brainpower” comment: ISIS believes they’ll go to Hell if they’re killed by a woman, so they run whenever female fighters enter the battlefield. That’s what ISIS commanders have to work with.
While that is sad, the funeral one family is going to have for their child who was hit by a car and killed because they weren’t in school probably tops it.
I am laughing (in a pathetic sort of way ) at how stupid we are.
If I don’t laugh, I will cry.
If they are, then it's a tacit admission that they believe it's possible. Which means they don't have any faith in their ability to enforce their own "gun free zones".
Probably, could be, a test to see how this is handled. Good exercise for our side, and a good source of information for how to use our response to their advantage by the other side.
Regardless it’s one hell of a cost to taxpayers either way, but what is one to do otherwise.
New York called the threat to their school system a hoax, and went on about their business. Let’s hope they were right.
Turn the search over to the FBI team who meticulously went through every square inch at Farook’s apartment or the CT state police who declared Sandy Hook all cleared in 5 minutes.
Then there’s this...
California Rep. Brad Sherman told CNN that he’s read the threatening email and that some of what’s in it lacked credibility in his opinion. But he also said the person who sent the email claimed to be an “extremist Muslim jihadist” with “32 accomplices” and “nerve agent”:
Rep. @BradSherman on email threat to #LAUSD schools: “At least some of the details of the threat lack credibility” https://t.co/HMgqwZDssV

Exactly what I’ve been thinking all day. I’m afraid this country is just too dumb to survive at this point. I give it less than five years .... If that. We just don’t have the sense anymore to self preserve or protect our own.
If the note said it was written by “an extremist Muslim jihadist,” it was obviously a kid who wrote it. Why do we pay these people?
This is going to cost LA some big $$$$$.
A jihadist attack with 32 accomplices and a nerve agents will not be announced by email. That is an attack of 9/11 proportions. If anything, there might be an increase in chatter. But an email?
BTW: If anyone ever threatened me by email, I’m as good as dead. I never read my email.
Feel safe yet?
Among the tip-offs: the “A” in Allah wasn’t capitalized in the email promising an attack, an error no true jihadist would make, Bratton said.

Too bad they don’t search social media. Somewhere on FB a snot nosed kid in a basement will be bragging about getting out of finals today.
Wiki confirmed that Arabic script:
“There are no distinct upper and lower case letter forms.”
Thus a non-English speaking Arabic muzzie might not know the difference between upper and lower case forms and their usage for proper nouns.
So, by itself doesn’t eliminate anyone.
The incompetence is astounding. MSM contaminating the San Bernardino was utter stupidity.
The PC culture and open borders has made us sitting ducks.
I had my own threat the other night by an “immigrant.” We’re in deep, deep trouble.
The PTB ascertained that a threat existed.
a terrorist threat...does not necessarily refer to a group or an individual making a threat.
Students should be differentiated from those merely in attendance.
